K	Kylie Collector on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tour Volcano, Hot Springs, Thirasia auf der "Odysseas": Laut Beschreibung sollte die Tour an und ab Fira Old Port gehen. Das Boot kam allerdings schon halb gefüllt zur Anlegestelle, vermutlich aus Athinios. Am Eingang zum Vulkan war dann erstmal heftiger Stau, der sich erst weiter oben langsam auflöst. Die 70 Minuten auf dem Vulkan fühlen sich kurz an, wenn man fast 15 Minuten braucht um auszusteigen und durchs Drehkreuz am Eingang zu kommen. Der zweistündige Aufenthalt auf Thirasia (laut Plan) wurde auf 90 Minuten gekürzt. Das reicht um sich entweder kurz oben in Manolas umzuschauen (20 Minuten Aufstieg) oder unten am Hafen etwas zu essen oder zu baden, beides geht nicht in der Zeit. Auf der Rückfahrt schipperten wir zwar unterhalb von Oia und Imerovigli entlang aber ein kurzer Blick auf den Hafen Amoudi war nicht drin, obwohl das kaum 5 Minuten mehr gewesen wären. Am Ende waren wir 45 Minuten eher in Fira als es die Beschreibung hergab. Die Toiletten auf dem Schiff Odysseas ließen sich nicht verriegeln. Alles in allem eine reine Massenveranstaltung (würde mindestens 150 Passagiere schätzen) auf der man weniger erfährt als selbst im kürzesten Reiseführer nachzulesen ist. Tour Volcano, Hot Springs, Thirasia on the "Odysseas": According to the description, the tour should go to and from Fira Old Port. The boat came to the jetty half full, presumably from Athinios. At the entrance to the volcano there was a heavy traffic jam, which only slowly dissipates further up. The 70 minutes on the volcano feel short when you need almost 15 minutes to get out and go through the turnstile at the entrance. The two-hour stay on Thirasia (according to the plan) was shortened to 90 minutes. That is enough to either take a quick look around the top of Manolas (20 minutes ascent) or to eat something or bathe down at the harbor, both of which are not possible in the time. On the way back we sailed below Oia and Imerovigli, but a quick look at the port of Amoudi was not possible, although that would have been barely 5 minutes more. In the end, we were 45 minutes earlier in Fira than the description suggested. The toilets on Odyssea's ship did not lock. All in all, a pure mass event (would estimate at least 150 passengers) on which one learns less than can be read in even the shortest travel guide.

S	Stephan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever. Booked a speedboat/ferry from Fira old port to Oia,. We were told it was a 20 min wait, turned out to be 40 min because they wanted more customers to join the trip. Money grabbing at its best. When we ask the captain when the boat would leave, he told us, when it's full. Don't waste your money, take the cable car and a bus.
D	Deise Brown on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boat is overcrowded and the crew does not inform us much. We were promised to get to Oía in the boat and did not get there. Instead, they made us get out of the boat at the new Thira port and get into a van (without informing us of anything, everybody was really confused about what was going on). We boarded the van, which took us to a certain point and then the driver made us move into a bus that finally took us to Oía. Very disappointing experience. Would never recommend.

It was very nice, we got a lot of side information by the tour guide on the boat. He spoke also different languages ( English, greek, French, Spanish and Italian), very pleasant. The boat was on time and there was a lot of space to sit on board. Great day!

R	Rafael Carletto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boat overcrowded, they do not informe departure times and lie saying it's a few minutes. They only sell together a return by bus, even if you don't need it. 30 euros per person. Recommend taking cable car and a bus to oia.
