The entire walk was really slippery I was only thinking about each steps trying not to fall, If you do take the stairs take shoes accordingly. Donkeys and horses were there, do not contribute to their exploitation please, mind that they are quite a lot of fesses on the entire way down, also it's not so large with donkeys and horses stopped a bit everywhere, I was scared that one kick me if they got upset. Put solar cream on, the view wasn't so bad but I had no time to really enjoy it

Everywhere Donky poooo.. ? The view is nice, go there by cable car or use the Stairs, do not use the donkeys to go upstairs..

Visited as part of the island cruise, had lunch and had a little walk up the stairs/path uphill

Cable car line was intense. Managed all the way down in flip flops without slipping. Took about 35-40 min with a few breaks along the way. If mules are coming, head for an inside corner as they swing wide typically. Some nice views along the way to go with a few not-so-good smells :)

Stairs nor for wall. You can be very tired after climbing to the bottom and top again. Of course you can take local taxi - donkeys - which are main attractions of the stairs nut not many people use this opportunity.

These stairs are long but well worth the trip down the Old Port. There is a cable car you take up and down as well. We decided to take the stairs down and the cable car for 6euros back up. It was a great decision!

Make sure you wear the right shoes since there are a lot of stairs. It took us a good 15-20 mins to go downhill. I recommend taking the cable car uphill. The mules use the stairs as well so they often pass by or are standing on the sides.

The stairs are very slippery and I actually fall down on the ground even with proper trainers. As other review comments mentioned there is quite a lot of donkey’s “belongings” so the smell of the stairs is not so good. Luckily I didn’t fall down on it. The donkeys looks so hot under the sun waiting for the tourists… Not a “must visit” place for me in the end.
