Organic authentic food , highly recommended! Next time we will stay for a few days as the hotel looked beautiful and is in a great location to explore the area
D	Dorothea Schipp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dalabelos Restaurant is definitely my ultimate favorite in the Rethymnon area. The kitchen offers traditional dishes of excellent quality. Vegetables and fruits are organic and grown at the estate. We enjoyed Eggplant mousse, stuffed courgette flowers, Pasticcio, Moussaka, veal and lamb stew. The menu is adapted daily to the freshest products of the garden. The tables on the spacious terrace are placed under big mulberry trees with beautiful views to the mountains as well as downhill above the olive grove towards the Cretan sea. After dinner there was a presentation of old instruments followed by Cretan music and songs presented by the host Vassilis. I absolutely recommend this place to spend a nice evening in friendly and relaxing atmosphere with excellent food.

They use mostly their own produce so you can really taste the freshness of the food. The menu suites a vegetarian ?
K	Kyoko Ashida on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited for dinner and really enjoyed the fresh traditional Greek food cooked with flair and made with the farms lovely organic homemade produce. Loved the view from our table and the live guitar music to accompany our meal. Highly recommended. N.B. Small busy kitchen so booking is definitely recommended. Would also recommend taking the motorway route which is slightly longer but much easier to navigate as the dirt road shortcut listed on Google maps as this is only really suitable for off road 4x4 vehicles.

I am not a big meat eater but the veal I had there was the best meat I had in a long time. They use all local and the vegetables are from their own garden. High quality ingrediants prepared in the best traditional Greek way! Prices are normal, the views amazing and the atmosphere just lovely (live music on certan days for complete experience). Since it is a rather small and private place, the best is to contact them a day before. Over whatsapp you can ask for a menu so you can see what they will be cooking on that day :)

On a beautiful estate where they grow almost all of the ingredients you see on the menu, great little hidden gem.
B	Beccy Larn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious! We ate breakfast and dinner here during our 8 night stay in one of the cottages, and every meal was wonderful. The organic produce is grown on site, and you can definitely taste the quality of the produce. Maria is a wonderful chef, and each dish is prepared with passion in traditional Cretan style. We experienced the traditional music demonstration which takes place on Saturdays, and were blown away by the beautiful sound. The terrace the restaurant is on is an experience its self, very clean and shaded by a canopy of Mulberry trees, with panoramic views of the sea and the mountains. The architecture is very pretty, with a stone built Woodfired oven and BBQ. If you get an opportunity to visit I would highly reccomend!
