We had a very unpleasant visit in that place. We have ordered a homemade lemonade what was fine but the service was really unacceptable. Unfortunately we had the same experience as other people here, we ordered drinks from Deli D’lux and my wife went to get that frozen yogurt from the place next door. The owner started shouting at us that we can’t consume product from the other place inside. My wife still had a full glass of lemonade but after that experience she lost her appetite and we left that place. Running a restaurant/cafe requires great hospitality and the owner probably chose the wrong business to run.

This cafe should be avoided. We were on 22. 07.2019 in this cafe. Ordered two cappuccinos and our two boys each picked out two scoops of ice cream. Strangely, we got five bons, so we should pay 16 euros. The date of a receipt was printed in this caffe two hours before our arrival! The female operator wanted to make us believe that the sum is legal. Here one can only speak of fraud.

We were chased away by the manager and owner of this place in the middle of the summer because a few drops of rain fell. All the tables were shielded and it was 7 hours before their closing time. They charged us at least double what we would pay in a another place. The owner appears to be very agressive and mentally disturbed, probably an alcoholic. We will be reporting him ofc. The waiter was nice and I hope he finds another job. I wish him luck and mate if you are reading this, stay safe ! AVOID THIS PLACE!

Even though we just ordered our drinks and were seated under a canopy, as soon as the first drops of rain started, we were told by the manager/owner, to drink up and leave! They said that they are closing because of the rain. The weather was very warm and the rain was a typical short storm, very common at this time of the year in Athens. It wasn't even 6 o'clock in the evening and the official working hours of this place is until midnight. We were the only guests and to tell you the truth, we actually sat there because we felt sorry for them, all the other restaurants and cafes were packed with guests and they had none So we chugged our big lemonades and coffes and the manager once again approached us and very rudely told us to leave. We had no umbrellas and our table, like I said, was shielded by a canopy, like ALL the other tables. The prices are sky high and we paid double the amount we would pay in a much more posh or luxurious cafe. AVOID THIS PLACE! Also we will find some sort of authority to report them.

The most horrible experience in my life at any establishment happened one morning while on our way to visit the Acropolis Museum. We decided to stop for a quick bite and refreshments at this outdoor cafe steps from our destination. There was a family of 4 next to us who had ordered coffee, juices and croissants for their table. They had gone into the shop to order and sat down after. The 2 young girls had also gone next door to a yogurt shop and brought their yogurt to the table to continue eating with their parents. By the way, this cafe doesn’t sell yogurt! We had just ordered juices, apple pies, coffee and water. No sooner did our pies and juices come out when a man started shouting and cursing in Greek for everyone to hear his distaste for what he saw in front of him regarding the yogurt consumption. Come to find out it was the owner. He continued the rant and cursed out the waitress (happened to be his wife) for allowing this to happen. Since my native language is Greek, I was left with my jaw hanging open until he began to yell at the family next to us in English about eating food from another establishment at his sidewalk tables. Now, this situation could have been handled very differently and more diplomatically by simply stating to his customers that his establishment doesn’t allow for outside food to be eaten in his establishment and to please either remove the items or allow the young girls to eat the other shops items quickly as a courtesy. However, he became belligerent and completely classless! The cursing was so loud and vile that I couldn’t hold my tongue any longer. I did speak my mind after he insulted everyone, proceeded to pay our bill and walked away promising to give him a bad review! I’ll include that my husband felt it was completely OVERPRICED AND NOT WORTH IT!

We had wonderful baklava with pistachio ice cream and lovely frappes here. George, the young man who waited on us and made our drinks was friendly and so pleasant I even asked for a photo with him to better remember. If we were in Athens longer I would visit regularly. It was very obvious to us that each restuarant here had it's own clearly marked space and I'm surprised some other reviewers felt they could bring in food/drinks from other places. We've recently traveled in the US, Netherlands and Italy and I don't believe it would have been appropriate or allowed anywhere.

This was the most unpleasant and shocking experience I've ever had in a coffee shop. We sat down after a long walk, to have some coffee. The waiter was very polite and professional. 5 minutes after we received our coffee and lemonades, the owner stood up and told us to finish our drinks. We looked at him in confusion, he simply repeated himself. We drained our glasses of lemonade and continued drinking or coffee with haste, when he once again told us to leave. They were closing due to the rain that was about to start. This was around 6pm, their working hours are until midnight. Not a single other bar around was chasing guests away, even the near empty ones. We paid our ridiculously overpriced tab and left. I would like to appeal to anyone who has a similar experience to report this place to the appropriate authorities, as we have done.
