Great front desk staff. Bellhop was very helpful in assisting with parking. Rooftop restaurant was one of the primary reasons we booked this location. It is closed for the season. This is not disclosed on the hotel website nor on the booking service (Expedia) that we used. The very first picture you see on the website is not even available. Disappointed. This should have been disclosed during booking.

The hotel is a stonethrow away from Acropolis and still the area is very quiet in the off-season. I liked the room very much, bed is very comfortable. We got a room upgrade. I guess, the reason was to make cleanings more comfortable on one floor instead of 5 in off-season, but still nice to have. The view on Acropolis is possible from the balcony. But a real full-screen view is only given from the roof-top-terrasse. During off season the restaurant and roof-top-terrasse are closed, but the stuff let us take photos. Breakfast Was a little disapointing. I expected higher quality. Staff is very friendly. Sauna was closed due to Corona restrictions. In a nutshell: for off-season-rates good enough, the hotel would not suit my expectations by higher rates.

No way this is a 5 star. The building is old and the rooms are in desperate need of an overhaul. We had more than 1 room and found out there were various inconsistencies in terms of water, items. Buffet breakfast was horrendous. Probably used to be good but once the tour groups came, they prob moved into the mode of just pushing people through to feed them. Save your money and stay elsewhere. Only saving grace is their location which is near the Acropolis. Duh

This is a really hard review to write. Starting with the positives - room is good - clean and spacious bathroom are pretty good (although had an air con issue and they were not proactive in dealing with it). Bar downstairs is good - guys are prompt, efficient and friendly. Breakfast is a disaster- service non existent and food awful. Sitting having dinner on the roof top and although the food (had a steak) and the welcome was good the service after the main course is served is terrible. Staff seem to be blind. Spent 40 mins politely trying to catch a server's eye. Just not happening.

It’s a great hotel but I don’t think it is that good to deserve five stars. I went there with my school and our door was broken the view was just buildings and the food was decent. I don’t think it deserves the hype. If you are planning to go there with your school don’t! There are hotels in Athens that are cheaper and a lot better for schools.

The value of this hotel was not worth the amount we paid. Yes location of the hotel is great, however it was noisy in the streets and we constantly heard people in the hallways. I booked this hotel for the view and pool, but never got to use the pool because there are only 8-10 loungers which were always in use. The acropolis view from our room we could only see by leaning over the balcony. The rooftop restaurant has an okay view of the Acropolis, depending which table you are seated at. Food was mediocre and definitely not worth the prices they charged.

Rooms: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 The hotel is quite close to Acropolis, which makes the location perfect. They do not have a private parking, either you park on the streets of nearby parking location charging 10 Euros per day. The swimming pool is in the center of hotel but the access is via lobby which doesn't give the give a private feeling. Everyone can see that you went for swimming, if you have to cross the lobby. The hotel is on the pricier side. Overall the experience was great.
