Herodion Hotel - Rovertou Galli 4

The staff is very friendly and helpful!! The breakfast was very nice with some decent options for vegans. The location could not be any better. Room was fine even if a bit small for our ridiculous American standards. Will stay here again if I'm back in Athens

This hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance to all of the major attractions in Athens and adjacent to the Plaka, with plenty of eating and shopping options nearby. The taxis even commented that they prefer this hotel as far as location because with all the demonstrations going on, you can always access it. The staff was very friendly and hospitable and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was excellent. Rooms were very clean, the room even had 1 a/c outlet compatible w/ U.S.. The roof lounge was awesome, amazing view. The food was better there then in the restaurants we ate at.

Overall Evaluation - The hotel is in a very convenient location to the Acropolis and the museum. There were plenty of food and shopping options nearby as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was the kind of service you expect from a top-notch hotel! Front Desk Services - Excellent! We had an issue with the roof of our bathroom being too short for my 6 foot 5 inch tall son, and they changed our room right away! Guest Room Environment - The rooms were clean and nice. The bed was comfy as were the pillows. Room Service & Mini Bar Services - did not use these services. We only ate at the restaurant for breakfast and it was a good spread (buffet). We did not use the lounge or Roof Garden Services, but they did look very nice and welcoming. How did you travel to Herodion Hotel - Plane and then taxi. What was the feature that mostly impressed you during your stay - The location and the rooftop Was there a feature that disappointed you during your stay? The "hot" tub was not hot at all. I assume in the summer, it does not matter, but it would still be a "luke warm" tub in the summer. Would you return to Herodion Hotel? - YES! Would you recommend Herodion Hotel to friends? YES!

Great location on a quiet street nearby all tourist attractions. Lobby/bar and rooftop is a big plus. We had a room on floor 1 with view to “inner yard”, ok room quality but not great overall due to the floor. Breakfast is okay/good. Very service minded staff.

Front Desk Services - exemplary service and was especially accommodating and sympathetic due to the airlines losing our luggage which we didn't receive until 2 days later. Guest Room Services - also exemplary Guest Room Environment - quaint with a peek a boo view of the acropolis. Room Service & Mini Bar Services - Room was not cleaned day one and we also asked that the keycard not be removed from the electricity slot so the air conditioning would stay on since it was quite warm. Housekeeping removed the card every day, therefore our room was incredibly warm after returning from a day's activities. Restaurant, Lounge & Roof Garden Services were phenomenal. Great food and the view from the rooftop restaurant/lounge were outstanding. Overall, our stay was extremely pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was very fresh with a great variety of choices. Herodion Hotel provided complimentary car service from the airport to the hotel. They also booked transportation on our behalf when leaving Athens. We really liked that the Herodion was a brief 15 minute walk to Syntagma Square, where all the shops & restaurants were located. The Herodion was recommended via a travel agent. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location; walk to Acropolis; restaurant offerings were delicious and had Acropolis views to boot. Make reservation for restaurant prior to your trip - it's popular! But you can get a seating in bar area with delicious options as well, if a dinner table is not available. Comfortable rooms, great and helpful staff. All great.

Definitely smaller rooms but enjoyed the balcony. The service was great, they were super helpful. Very close to the Acropolis and Plaka. The breakfast included was so good! The rooftop terrace was amazing. We spent all of our chill time after walking and sight seeing there and it was a great addition.
