Dora apartments - tragaki

Just come home from 2 weeks at Dora Apartments in Tragaki, on Zakinthos. Had a wonderful, quiet holiday courtesy of Andreus the owner and his family. These 2 apartments are set in an olive grove above Donkey beach which is less than 5 minutes walk down a set of steps. We look forward to returning next year if not sooner and are planning to rent both apartments to accommodate our whole family in 2019. The apartments are fully set up for self catering and their is a local supermarket and butchers shops within easy walking distance. The walk along the beach into Tsilivi is approx 20 minutes but normally took us about 30-40 minutes due to stopping to look for fish etc. Their are restaurants within walking distance, and these are of good quality. All in all highly recommended.

Very nice establishment, much better than in pictures. Everything you need for a family with children, the host was really friendly and helpful.

The best place in Zakynthos! Beautiful and very clean with no one annoying us. The beach is the best.. recommended for vacations… I will visit it again soon!

We (4 adult and a 6 years boy) spent our 2018 summer holiday in Zakynthos and we have chosen Dora Apartments...it was the best choice: lovely house- clean and comfortable, large garden with old olive trees, large outside terrace for family dinner; a silent place, close to the beach (some minutes walking), quiet beach with sand, warm water...and a lot of fishes for my nephew's fun... close to the supermarkets( some minutes by car) and a lot of restaurants...not far from Zante (20 minutes by car). And very very important: very nice owner, disposable to advise us with all we need. Thank you Andreas! We had beautiful days there, at your home!

Nice, newly renovated apartment with well equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. Beds in the two bedrooms have quite new mattresses. Silent place with a terasse and a veranda allowing to choose sun or shaddow most of the time. A beautiful restaurant and a mini market are nearby. The apartment is very clean and during our one week stay cleaning was repeated once as well as a change of sheets. Andreas is a very nice person who has excellent recommendations for spots to visite, restaurants to eat or beaches to swim. But he is never importunate. The residence is ideal as an orign to discover the island by car. As there are two identical apartments side by side it i s a perfect place for two famalies who want to spend their holidays together. However, we rented only one of the aparments and enjoyed our holidays very much.

A fabulous holiday destination. A serene setting of olive trees and green lawn only minutes away from the beach. Tranquil, clean and safe, perfect for people of all ages as well as families with children.

Tha apartments were spotless, and in short distance from the beach. A perfect spot for holidays, ideal for families and children, while the host did everything possible to make it a memorable holiday for us. I definitely recommend Dora's apartments!!

Great Place and Great Host. We stayed at Dora Apartments for a week and we felt very well taken care of. Throughout the stay, the host supported us in the search for tourist attractions: renting a motorboat, car, recommendations of interesting places, as well as less touristic ones, such as: atmospheric pubs, scenic spots or indicating local farmers from whom we could buy eggs for breakfast. Help with ordering a taxi that will arrive on time was invaluable :) The apartment has everything you need to spend time with friends and family. The kitchen is fully equipped, it allows you to prepare your own meals: fridge, electric cooker, oven, pots and dishes for 4 people. In addition, a neat and clean bathroom, two air-conditioned bedrooms with access to the terrace from which you can see the sea and sunrise, where you can sleep peacefully. There is a possibility of doing laundry, which helps to reduce the amount of clothes in the suitcase. The apartment also has a large and very well-kept garden with deckchairs, where you can relax if you want to rest from the nearby beach;) The garden grill and the western terrace in the shade, where we ate self-prepared meals every day, worked well for us. Dora Apartments is perfect for a couple with two teenage children (also equipped with a cot) or a group of four friends. Protip: the fastest walking route into town is across the beach. Thanks to this, you avoid hills leading through a busy route. Andreas! See you soon!
