★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect location for a wedding, we had a fantastic experience here as guests. The food was beautiful and the wine of course was delicious. The staff were very friendly. I met the owner Andreas who was very helpful and friendly, even went above and beyond to get me online to book my taxi. Nice to meet the dourakis dog too Emma! The garden is beautiful and it is well worth a visit. Just gorgeous !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great wine tasting experience. Book a table online (you pay at the place, after the tasting) and relax on the beautiful terrace. The wines were really nice and olives served with them were absolutely delicious. €10 per person for 5 different wines is pretty reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrific winery. Mr Andreas ( Dourakis) is a real professional, indeed. We did taste the different types and grape varities, bought several bottles for own collection. Definitely recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not worth it. Did some tasting and bought several bottles. Overpriced to my opinion.
It's not possible to see the place inside and wines are average (3.5 on vivino).
Personnel is nice and welcomming, didn't charge us for tasting... However, technically, tasting should be usually free. Place is easy to find.
When we were therr there was no food, not possible to have lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have tried a few great organic wines in this vineyard, each of them is unique and very smooth. The lunch was fresh, delicious and complimented the wines gorgeously. The sommelier shared loads of wine knowledge and local information with us. We certainly enjoyed the wonderful afternoon in this cosy family-run vineyard ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I heard from a friend we needed to visit Dourakis while in Crete. I thoroughly recommend - make sure you make a reservation (even though online it may tell you that you won’t need one). Despite not having a reservation, we were able to sit at a table inside and enjoy a bottle of wine and delicious cheese.
