★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for fantastic winery and vineyard tour run by a great family then look no further. We had a great afternoon here with the many cats and dogs who are extremely friendly. Great wine tasting and amazing food as well! All for €15pp which is an absolute bargain. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great winery in Chania

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a bit in the middle of nowhere: one has to drive up the mountains, but it is definitely worth it!
I enjoyed many different wines combined with some food and nice conversations with daughter and son of the owner.
Prices are also very reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent a very nice day at the winery. Since the last days were rainy we decided to visit this winery without notice in advance. We received a very warm welcome and a tour in facility by the owner. She opened the testing area and showed us everything. We decided for a testing and were able to test several wines, the homemade Raki as well as the honey Raki and olive oil. In addition she prepared several appetizers and salads. Amazing, especially considering we showed up by coincidence.
Finally we spent 3 hours on the site, happily stuffed with nice wine and food and took some things for at home.
We have visited several wineyards internationally and in Greece, but this was the most welcoming visit! Full recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is really great. Nice agro-wineyard, running by lovely and open hearted Family. Their hospitality is outstanding; They gave us delicious meal and we could try every wine we wanted. All of this with fantastic, familiar atmosphere. After a visit, you can buy home-made wine and olive oil.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group stopped at a nearby winery - Dourakis - and didn’t have a reservation, so we thought we would drive to Mavres for a tasting. We were NOT disappointed - family run, four cute dogs greeted us. It truly felt like I went to dinner at a Greek friend’s home. The food was fresh - literally cooked as we arrived - we could smell the lovely aromas. For four people four wine tastings (also very heavy pours) + an entire plate of food (everyone left very full) - only cost 40 euro! Highly recommend stopping here!
