Many thanks to Drive Hellas for a good and debonair service. Our 9 seated VW car was very comfortable and powerful. In the curved, hilly roads of Crete it was smooth and ready for our wishes. Crete was wonderful. We missed by now its clean, blue waters, good people and every thing about it. Meanwhile Drive Hellas was friendly, reliable and offered us really a convenient price. I unfortunately can only add to the miserable ratings earlier about this car rental company: My mum picked up the car without noticing a bump in the bottom left of the car (car generally in extremely bad shape), and signed the contract without reporting the damage. She neither took sufficient pictures of that area of the car. Important to note, she got directly asked whether she has an insurance and her credit card got blocked with 930€. When we returned the car, the old damage was declared as new damage, and we were told that it would be easy for us to report that to our insurance. Our legal protection insurance could not help us here due to insufficient proofs from our side. I can only conclude by warning about this car rental company that engages in insurance fraud at scale. I hope that mietwagen-billiger, the platform through which we booked the car, removes that car rental company from their website. Happy to provide a video of the car to anyone with the same issue in the future.

Beware of scams! The cars are full with scratches and bumps and of course they will blame you for that and charge you for the damage! We where charged for 260€ for damages that we didn't done! Better to go to other companies!

Great service and friendly experience for our first time renting a car on holiday. We hired a small call and were given a nearly new Dacia Sorrento which was great to drive.

They charged us 315€ for the scratches we didnt do. Even though we showed them pictures of the car when we picked it up showing no new scratches, they ignored them and invented new scratches on the car. The car was already full of scratches when we picked it up, therefore we took a lot of pictures ar first when we picked it up to be prepared. They are just hooligans. Never again. Be aware of them.

Had a good experience. Not exactly sure about the negative reviews, I also did pay for an insurance (100 Euro). The tank was full, they didn't charge me the deposit (600 Euro). The car was great, it was a very new Suzuki Swift.

We've been on Crete during 09/21 and we wanted to explore island to the west from Iraklio. We made a reservation for VW Polo or similar. We arrived an hour before our reservation and obviously our car wasn't prepared yet. The friendly staff offered us Audi Q2 for the same price and it was the best choice for our road adventures on Crete. We checked the car together and took some pictures, paid the deposit and start our trip. Q2 was brand new (y.o.p. 2021) with only 5k km. Roads on Crete are mostly in good condition but sometimes you get on gravel road (Balos or in the mountains). For this purpose the Q2 was just the match. When we handed over the car at the end of our trip we had no problem. Everything was smooth and staff was friendly. I hope that everyone can have same positive experience with this company as we had. We enjoyed the Crete to the fullest. Thank you and based on our experience I can recommend this company.
