K	Kr Travels on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally deserves the current 5 star rating. Our Fiat Panda was excellent. Service on check in was nice and welcoming. Easy rules. No credit card. Full insurance. On return dropped the keys in the box. Had no issues with the car, but even if I did, I fully trust the comments saying you do not need to worry.
K	Kiku C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Credits to them: Martin answered the phone on a holiday weekend, and they did a car swap for a reasonable EUR65 when we found our Jeep too large for the tight lanes of Heraklion (like Fukuoka and both sides lined with cars ?). right before their New Years no less. The cars were also in pristine condition, which we appreciated. Advice was also extremely quick (relative to other businesses we dealt with in Greece). Will be back if we visit Crete again! (For the record we made a booboo: we thought Crete would be like Aegina, it is not, it is 3X the size of our own country, with its own traffic density...)
E	Ernst Lieber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This year (2021) we once again had a great vacation in Crete. In 2019 we had to cancel our car because we could not come to Crete because of personal health issues. The cancellation did not cost anything - The Best Cars returned the full amount together with best wishes for me and my family (even the amount for the cancellation insurance has been returned!). I am the type of person who does not forget such kind behaviour and so we booked our car for this year. Everything went perfectly ok - the car was in top condition, was ideal for the special roads we had to use. The email conversations were always polite and clear and at the airport the pick up of the car and as well the return were organized perfectly! We can definitely recommend the best cars and will for sure come back!
A	Andrea Conzett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renting a car from Best Cars Rental on Crete was a great experience. We made a reservation by phone at 9pm the night before our arrival. At 9am the next morning the car was ready at the airport to drive off, without a lot of paperwork. Payment was also very easy, all insurance included in the price, and no deposit. The car was very clean and in a top condition. We made a lot of miles all over the island and the car was perfect for our purpose and the road conditions. Dropping off the car at the airport when our vacation came to an end was very easy too. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, including when I left my mobile phone in the car after returning it. We will rent from Best Cars Rental again when we return to Crete and can recommend it to everybody else.

I was picked up with my family and a lot of luggage from the terminal by an energetic and nice guy, straight to the car, within minutes. Very comfortable after flight! Car exactly as I wanted, fully insured, no hidden charges. Dropping off the car - straightforward, a few minutes. Very good value and comfort for money. Highly recommended!

When you receive your car without gas and you return your car with half a tank, you get nothing back! if you hand in even 5 liters too little, you will immediately be accused of having to refuel! They don't know compensation and hospitality here!
T	Tudor Irimia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was definitely one of the best car rental experiences we had so far and I'll briefly share why below: - easy and flexible pick-up and return - rented the car for 7 days from Heraklion Airport and returned it in Chania Airport; - helpful and trusting staff - these guys were super nice and available for calls/messages at any time of the day; - extra gravel insurance - I think they were the only ones that offered this add-on. In case you're left in Balos with the goats squad, then you can still get road assistance for this little extra daily fee; - needless to say that the car was in impeccable condition - clean and new (I think it had around 9500 km when we picked it up); - finally, take care of the car, makes no sense to abuse it when these guys are so nice and are offering a high quality service at a fair price. Best in Crete right here! Thanks again and see you next time!

Staff was friendly, caring and professional. Very uncomplicated to rent and also to return the car. We would recommend The Best Cars to friends, it is truely the Best!
