It‘s a very nice location, with a rather large and beautiful beach. But the facilities, our room, the food and the staff were simply not meeting the standards of a 5-star-hotel. Everything is ok, but we paid 400€ per night, directly booked through the hotel website, and at this price we expect a clean luxurious room, great food and well trained and experienced staff. The room was small and overall maybe 4 stars maximum. The AC was loud and not well regulated, we got dirty towels, the shower was a joke, the bed was obviously cheap with mediocre matrices running a deep groove between them. Our room was also obviously never vacuum cleaned while we were there, since the residual sand from the beach just kept on accumulating on the floor. But the biggest letdown by far was the included food. The food from the included buffet was some of the cheapest and worst food we ever had in any hotel. That was the case both for breakfast and dinner. It was maybe at the level of some cantine in a public institution. A lot of different things offered, but everything was poor quality. Alltogether, for 400€ per night this felt like a rip-off. We left early and on top only got 10% of our unused nights refunded.

A very very charming resort with a good vibe, nice facilities, outstanding friendliness and easy to be reached from Thessaloniki. The beach is wonderful, the rooms are pleasant and there is plenty of variety for food. Nothing to be missed for a splendid vacation at the beach. COVID measurements are taking very serious and one extremely safe here. Coming here for the sixth time it always is a pleasure. For sure we will be coming again.

I have visited the hotel on at least 2 occasions in the past and I would give it a 4.5 star rating. eating here is high above anything you can find locally but it all comes at a price. Since last I visited prices have gone way up and it is out of my budget.

Best day was our boat rental at Dinos (next to the beach to the west). If you are into any water sport activities you have to visit Dinos. Very nice person, excellent prices and services! Total MUST! Besides that day we had a nice, quite and relaxing stay at the Palace. + >The food was good and varied. >Design of the hotel it very good, rooms were clean >Even off-saision they tried to offer special actvities >private beach without wandering beach pedestrians >nice staff >daily 0,5l water bottle per person - >almost everthing has to be paid extra and everything is expensive >we always found dishes that were not totaly clean (not dirty and stinky but not fully clean either) >all tables were sticky (maybe due to permanent desinfection?)

Really lovely beach and pool, and the room we had looked nice as well. The staff were generally friendly. HOWEVER: - walls of the room were so thin, each day we could hear the neighbor’s conversations, and each night we could hear them snoring - bed was actually two twin sized beds pushed together with nothing to keep them in place, so every morning we woke up to a wide chasm between us - buffet food was mediocre at best. Some of the things tasted as though they came from cans - food at the paid restaurants were better, but not justifying the price… 10€ for a few spoonfuls of tzatziki, for instance - cocktails were awful. We tried an espresso martini and pina colada before giving up and sticking to beers and water - spa treatments were a waste of time. Went for deep tissue massage, felt like they were just smearing oil around

Beautiful hotel on a private sandy beach. The welcome was delightful and the front desk staff fantastic. The rooms were a little smaller than average, especially with two children in a "sleeps four" room. Bathroom was lovely and beds comfortable though. Pool simple but clean, and the beach was lovely. We spent "lazy" day here as there were very few sunbeds available at the pool. Biggest gripe is the food. It was extremely difficult to book into the a la carte restaurants, with only 9-10pm as an option for many restaurants, which is unreasonable with children (not to mention we wouldn't do that to other diners!). The restaurants were very expensive compared to local standards, which felt quite grabby. The wine, while expensive, was very nice indeed. Evening entertainment, when happening, was nice. There is no easy way to walk/run in the local area, you are dependent on taxi/hotel shuttle, or walking along the main road, so you are quite the captive market. Lovely wine tour booked through the hotel, equally lovely boat tours arranged directly in Ouranoupolis.
