★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got the small meat variety portion and the platter was more than enough for both of us. The chicken was quite dry, we couldn't eat it but everything else was delicious. The restaurant is very pretty and they have live greek music playing. As a greek myself i can say that i enjoyed it a lot and did not have to spend too much to eat well.

The tip of my tongue twitched, the rush of mint and satin pierced my dull senses. Alive and alert, I now know what it is to be present and transported.
I decided to stop by this local restaurant that my tour guide pointed at yesterday. All I can say is I have never tasted such depth and felt such a nostalgia about one place.
Eating a plant based diet restricts me a bit. I trusted my host to select everything for me.
Perfect! Delicious. Ambiance is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a taste of true Greek hospitality, drop by at Efcharis as soon as you arrive in Athens. The moussaka melted in my mouth, the zucchini fries were delicious, and the wine was great. But nothing compared to the hospitality of the staff. So very warm and welcoming!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a Dutch girl who travels alone. Amazing people who works here. They welcome you with open arms! And then talk about the food! It’s so delicious and they have menus in a lot of different languages! I will recommend this rest to everyone who is in Athens!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give this place 4.5 as the portions were huge and it was tasty. The moussaka was very good. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is the sausage & meatball was a bit on the salty side for me (that’s a personal taste) and it was a bit chilly inside as the door is left open. Overall the service was good and very good value for money.

Best Greek food I had in Greece. The food was flavorful and the service, unmatched. As the server was placing the food on the table, he saw that all the plates and cups would be crammed so he immediately combined another table to give us more room. This place was packed at the time and could have used that table to have more openings for other people. Instead I believe he wanted us to have a great experience and indeed we did. The place is super busy and the servers move nonstop. With all that chaos, they manage to accommodate their customers. The food was just as great with the octopus being grilled just right and the fish sauce was satisfying. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a meal. The prices are super acceptable (around 9€ for a moussaka) for the location. The restaurant is nice inside with two floors and they give a surprise dessert for free - the traditional orange and olive oil cake. Nice staff

This restaurant was recommended by the locals at the souvenir shop down the acropolis walk. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The food was wowww!! Fresh ingredients, excellent taste and great size portion. Great ambience by the *Hard Rock Hotel alley*, you cant miss it. 5 star-service for the gentlemen, very friendly and welcoming. Great help with our dishes recommendation and takeaway instructions (yes, we ordered to-go for our friend back in our country). We received wine, other drinks and orange cake on the house. Cake was delicious too!! Very generous and very kind! We really appreciate and satisfied with our visit here. No doubt, I'd love to dine here again one day. Affordable and reasonable price.
