★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Λίγο έξω από την πόλη βρίσκεται αυτό το όμορφο εκκλησάκι. Μοιάζει να βρίσκεται κάπου στις Κυκλάδες. Πανέμορφο και με εκπληκτική θέα.
Just outside the city is this beautiful church. It seems to be somewhere in the Cyclades. Beautiful and with stunning views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ H Αγία Μεγαλομάρτυς Κυριακή γεννήθηκε στη Νικομήδεια, μοναδικό παιδί του Δωρόθεου και της Ευσεβίας. Οι γονείς της ήταν Έλληνες, ευσεβείς χριστιανοί, πλούσιοι, αλλά χωρίς απογόνους. Σύμφωνα με τη διήγηση του βίου της από την Εκκλησία, απέκτησαν ένα παιδί εκ Θεού. Εφόσον Κυριακή (γεννήθηκε ημέρα προσευχόμενοι αδιαλείπτως την ημέρα του Κυρίου), της δόθηκε το όνομα Κυριακή.
Η Μεγαλομάρτυς Κυριακή υπέστη μεγάλα βασανιστήρια, από τον αυτοκράτορα Διοκλητιανό, προκειμένου να αλλάξει την πίστη της και όταν παρά όλα αυτά δεν υπέκυψε, έδωσε εντολή στον δήμιο να την θανατώσει, την βρήκε όμως ήδη νεκρή, ήταν μόλις 21 χρονών.
Η Αγία Κυριακή είναι η πολιούχος Αγία της πόλης των Σερβίων στην Κοζάνη, όπου την ημέρα μνήμης της τελείται Πανηγυρική Θεία Λειτουργία στο Ναό της Αγίας Κυριακής.
Επίσης σε πολλά μέρη της Ελλάδας υπάρχουν εκκλησάκια που γιορτάζουν τη μνήμη της.
Το απολυτίκιο της Μεγαλομάρτυς Αγίας Κυριακής είναι:
Ως βρύσις πολύκρουνος παρθενομάρτυς Χριστού, κατήρδευσας πάνσοφε την Εκκλησίαν αυτού, και ήθλησας άριστα.
Έσωσας τους εν σκότει της ειδωλομανίας, αίγλη των σων θαυμάτων, Κυριακή αθλοφόρε. Διό εν παρρησία Χριστώ πρέσβευε σωθήναι ημάς.
Η μνήμη της Αγίας ενδόξου μεγαλομάρτυρος Κυριακής τιμάται από την Ορθόδοξο Εκκλησία μας στις 7 Ιουλίου.
Saint Megalomartys Kyriaki was born in Nicomedia, the only child of Dorotheos and Eusebia. Her parents were Greeks, pious Christians, rich, but without descendants. According to the narration of her life by the Church, they had a child from God. Since Sunday (she was born day praying incessantly on the day of the Lord), she was given the name Sunday.
The Great Martyr Sunday was severely tortured by the emperor Diocletian, in order to change her faith and when despite all this she did not succumb, she ordered the executioner to kill her, but found her already dead, she was only 21 years old.
Agia Kyriaki is the patron saint of the city of Serbs in Kozani, where on its day of remembrance a Solemn Divine Liturgy is celebrated in the Church of Agia Kyriaki.
Also in many parts of Greece there are small churches that celebrate its memory.

As the fountain of Christ, the virgin martyr of Christ, you overthrew his Church all the time, and you excelled excellently.
You saved them in the darkness of idolatry, glory of your miracles, miserable Sunday. Because in parsimony Christ advocated for our salvation.
The memory of the Holy glorious great martyr Sunday is honored by our Orthodox Church on July 7.
