★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth the stay here to enjoy the beach after hours, when most people leave and first thing of the day before the buses and cars arrive. Next to Panorama restaurant which is worth going to for the evening and breakfast.

We were called at 17h pm by the owner to tell us the people have not left the room we have reserved. We were close to arrive and the road is quite tricky. He told us he managed to find a room at 55 euros (same price) at so called "dinner" which is "elafonossi rooms to rent". Check out the evaluations, this is the horror hotel. He called us at the exact time we told him we would arrive. NEVER RENT A ROOM TO THIS MAN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Biggest tourist magnet in south of Crete. Not recommended if you like peace and quiet. The famed pink sand is mostly gone. It took us over half an hour to find a quiet spot with tiny beach, on the other side of lagoon. Elafonisi is still beautiful, but overrated.
