★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great tavern and highly recommended. If you walked up from the beach, there will be one on the right but it is the next one further up the road. It’s part of the Kalomirakis resort hotel.
Probably one of the best restaurants I had for Cretan cuisine. They also serve one of my favourite Assyrtiko from Estate Argyros, a beautiful Santorini wine. Highly recommend!!!
I had the zucchini balls as starter! Oh my God, it is so soft and juicy! A must try!!!
I then had their mussels saganaki and shrimps saganaki. The mussels are far and juicy and shrimps fresh and tasty!
Don’t expect service though as they could get busy and it is a tavern after all. But the waiter is really nice to me and kept offering me fruits and ice creams.
Food 9/10, service 7/10, ambience 7/10, value for money 8/10.

The food was delicious. One of the best tavernas we have been during our time in Crete. It was a random chose but we were pleasantly surprised.
We would certainly try to come back again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fried calamari were very good, the lamb chops a bit dry. The service is friendly even if not the most efficient, and prices are fair. The view is pretty if you manage a table facing the beach.
