★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do yourself a favour and go past the tourist trap eateries by the beach. Innachorion is just 200m further up the street from the entrance to Elafonisi and a far better quality.
We tried some local options and, even from their smaller lunch selection, everything was excellent. The moussaka and traditional meatballs were especially outstanding. It's a shame the place looked empty... but we did arrive at an off-hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff and good food. The view is beautiful. There is a lot of items from the menu to choose from. Typical Cretan dishes. Good to know: some of their menu items are halal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed a family cooked meal here in this restaurant just up the lead from the beach. The girl who served us was very friendly and just kept giving us things to try on the house. There was also a cat there so plus!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had dinner here and enjoyed our meals. Large serving sizes and very reasonable prices. Many traditional Greek food options on the menu. We had stuffed tomatoes, tzatziki and Greek salad and that was plenty for 2. Staff were very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I put 1 star because there is not the choice to put 0. Despite the restaurant is really beautiful, it was the worst restaurant experience in our life, and God knows how much restaurants we went to. The pictures on the menu are a lie. The only thing fresh was the orange juice. All the rest was industrial stuff dropped in a plate. Industrial waffles with a lot of sugar added, the English breakfast was a joke, a hold ugly sausage, bread was dry.
Please, do not go there, it contribute to steal money of tourists and I feel trapped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just before you get to Elafonisi. Nice scenery but not best beach. We did find old small and a large Shea shells. There was a mini kind of coffee shop. Not worth the drive unless you are in the area.
