★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had arranged to visit my father's birthplace on my way back to Chania from Falasarna, so found this place on the Internet. The view is breathtaking, the sunset while dining was something unforgettable. The food was even more amazing, better than expected. All dishes were absolutely delicious and we couldn't stop tasting literally nearly everything there was on the menu. Great selection of traditional dishes, very nicely cooked and carefully prepared using fresh and local ingredients. The service was quick and fantastic, the waiters were funny and in a very good mood, making our visit there a pure delight. Will definitely visit again and I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to try the Cretan cuisine when visiting or travelling through this quaint village.

Stunning location in the hills, overlooking olive groves, amazing local food and brilliant service. Me and my partner discovered the place on our second evening in Crete and went back to eat there on our last night. Very knowledgeable staff explained the menu to us. We ate different dished on each occasion. It was all delicious.
If you're staying in Platanias it's only a 20min drive and nice escape from the busy tourist strip.
Love the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Restaurant with the most beautiful view. Best get there before sunset und you can see the sun descend behind the Mountains. Good food as well. And the service was as professional as I could wish for. So get there and have an great time. PS: they have beer from rethymno and i bet, that the brewmaster is a german because it is brewed according to the german purity law from 1516 :-D

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've eaten here several times in the past year and I always enjoy it. The view from the enormous balcony is fabulous and the food has always been good. We had the oven baked fish yesterday, from the new summer menu, and it was delicious. I love the chestnuts too, especially as a mezze.
The staff and owners are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Last summer, I felt I'll from sitting in the sun too long, and the waiters were so kind and caring.
What more can you ask?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was such a nice dinner!! We were alone at the restaurant, as it was beetwen lunch and dinner, but we were such professionally served by really nice waiter. He brought us additionally homemade mizithra for waiting.
The portions were huuge, we couldn't eat almost even the salad, but it was delicious. At last we received the biggest dessert we have eaten in all the restaurants we have eaten. You can't also forget about the amazing view from the terrace.
