★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an excellent, down to earth tavern with friendly staff and a nice centre of the village location. The menu is not extensive but they focus on a few things and they do them well. I really recommend their Cretan salad, I think it is one of the best in the Chania region. The gemista are delicious - you can taste the mint and oregano and sometimes they serve galatoboureki, which is excellent, although I assume they source it from a bakery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by for a bite after taking an Olive Oil tour at Biolea. The patio was pleasant. The waiter was attentive. The small plates we had were good. Definitely a nice relaxing outdoor cafe to stop at if you’re in the area. The cafe is apparently open year round as locals also enjoy it.
