★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best price in Crete, they have new cars and the staff was very polite. I've rented a Suzuki Celerio for 6 days and drove 1.000 km without any issues. Highly recommend !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They CANCELLED our reservation less than 24 hours before arrival on July 19th 2021. Elan Rental cars and his owner Stelios Stavgiannoudakis CANCELLED our booking by email the day before our arrival and left me and my family (2 small kids) stranded without car in the last moment. They did not provided the reason for this cancellation and they refused to take our calls. Please be wary to book a car with this company if you want to have a pleasant holidays in Crete. It better to be safe and maybe pay a little bit more elsewhere than to be sorry. The were no cars available anywhere in Chania to rent and so we lost 3 days of our holidays waiting for a rental car to be available else where for 3 times more expensive. Avoid while you can. By the way, their office is supposed to be near the bus station and since we were nearby we decided to "visit" their office but what a surprise ... there was no Elan Rental car office anywhere. I am a more than 100% sure that this company executes last minute cancelations to existing reservations in order to release/ free cars to other requests received from new clients at a much higher cost in order to get rid of low profit reservations and allow for new ones with higher profits.PLEASE BE CAREFUL !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second time I rent a car through Elan, I recommend them to anyone looking for good service and a reasonable price. They offer car pickup at your hotel, airport and in town. The car I rented was a recent Hiunday i30 in perfect condition. It is a small company but offers a great service and customer care.

I booked a car for only 1 week but needed to change my booking to a further 2 weeks at very short notice. I could not keep the first car (understandably) which I had collected at the airport. We arranged for the cars to be exchanged at my house - so no inconvenience to myself. Competitive prices and a quality service.
