 Very off-center, typical tavern, with an exceptional welcome from the owner and his son. The food is excellent !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heel rustige plaats met Heel vriendelijke baas, prachtig uitzicht maar eerlijk is eerlijk het eten trekt op niks, ook de wijn is huis gemaakt en voor ons niet drinkbaar, de raki en de gratis aangeboden meloen achteraf waren het beste sorry maar zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar
Very quiet place with a very friendly boss, beautiful view but to be honest the food sucks, the wine is also homemade and not drinkable for us, the raki and the free melon offered afterwards were the best sorry but certainly not worth repeating

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jumped on the tour bus in Rethymno and saw that it was passing by the village Chromonastiri, after wandering around the village we came across this beautiful traditional taverna! We unfortunately did not bring a lot of cash but that did not stop us from having an amazing meal! Got the Meze for 2 and it was absolutely delicious!! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the view is to die for! Definitely would recommend coming to visit here if you're in the area - 10/10!!
