Awesome service! Jacuzzi was luxurious.

We came from Heraklion to Chania for just two days. My boyfriend and I were searching for a more luxury way to spend our days off and this place was just amazing! The room was clean and super elegant! We enjoyed our time in sauna and jacuzzi that the room includes. Breakfast was delicious and the stuff was really kind. Also the location has many choices for food and drinks and it is only 15 minutes away from the old town of Chania by car.

It was an amazing experience! I’ve heard of Cretan hospitality many times in the past and now I can tell that it was 100% real! We’ve stayed there for 3 nights at the 18th of Aug. First of all, the hotel just finished the renovation and we were some of the very first guests, so everything was brand new, very well organised and super clean. The rooms were very big with sauna and jacuzzi. The decoration super elegant with a minimal style. The stuff was amazing, super kind, hospitable and helpful. The location is very good, cause the beach was 2 min walk and there are awesome taverns with fresh fish in 5 min walk. I recommend this place for sure to everyone and I will be back soon. Thank you to Yannis and Nicolina for the great hospitality. Always had a smile and were very helpful. Thank you to Evelina for the lovely breakfast in the mornings. We had a room with a jacuzzi which worked well. The shower was also a sauna/ steam room, worked well too. Great location right next to the beach. Next to other beaches too. In total I visited 6 beaches. If you wish to go the the famous Elafonisi beach, it's roughly an hour and 30 minutes drive. The staff in the hotel can help organise your trip and help you with the transport. Overall a very good hotel with great staff.

Rooms were amazing with a hot tub inside and serviced regularly , usually coming back to a spotless room after breakfast. The hotel arranged collection at the airport for us at a fair price and the staff helped us with any queries we had about the area. Also with a supermarket within 20 metres from the front door and central position in the town we didn't have to go far for anything we needed. And a direct road down to the beach that is about a 2 minute walk I would highly recommend Elias hotels for your stay in platanias or Crete.

We stayed at Elia Platanias for 4 nights. When we arrived at Elia Platanias we were greeted by extremely warm and friendly staff, and upgraded to a bigger room, which was incredible. It was a beautiful apartment and was so relaxing, just what we needed! Parking was included so we didn't have to struggle to find any. We missed the timing for breakfast due to being extremely tired which caused us to oversleep but they would kindly offer us the breakfast anyway! Sadly a few downsides of the Elia Platanias included the bar opposite which was named New Planet, our room was located opposite this bar and we were constantly shouted at and harassed when on the balcony and when we walked past by what we believe to be the owner of New Planet Bar, to enter the bar or come down, it got to the point where we would rush past and dread walking past as it was starting to become extremely irritating! Another downside of Elia Platanias was the breakfast, although it was included with our room, it seemed as if there wasn't a large amount of choice and it took some time to receive the breakfast and the juice. We did not have a kettle in the room which was annoying as we wanted to make coffee but we just boiled water in a saucepan and proceeded to make coffee that way. There is no swimming pool at this hotel, however we were allowed to visit the Elia Hotel 10 minutes away which did have one. Unfortunately the cleaning staff left a bit to be desired as our room was only cleaned properly once during our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would not recommend staying here more than a few nights.
