β β β β β Stayed here for a week mid October, although the season was coming to an end there was still a lovely atmosphere. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and good care was taken of all areas. There is someone on hand all day. The location was ideal for me, 15min level walk into the town, along the sea line, whilst being quieter for being that little bit outside the hustle and bustle of the square. Still lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The sea is so clear and clean, it is across a small road so always in your eyeline. First visit to Crete but I'm sure not my last.

β β β β β Popped in for a coffee, sandwich and drinks on a recent holiday. Lovely shaded bar/restaurant, good, friendly service and customers local and returning holiday makers. If I was looking at staying in Elounda again I would consider here.

β β β β β We have been regularly coming here for about the last 6-7yrs and sometimes twice a year.
Over time the personality at the bar decressed. Yes the last 2 yrs hasnt been normal. However, if you are open for holiday makers then you are part of that whole experience.
Indeed we were left an hour waiting yesterday for check in. As personnel had not been made aware of our arrival!
Then my booking with a third party via booking.com clearly stated that I had Air con included. THIS WAS NOT HONOURED BY THE APPARTMENT today and indeed i quote ' He didnt give a $#!t'. No i had not shouted nor sworn at him, i just wanted him to acknowledge that I wasnt asking for anything special and that my confirmation via booking.com is obviously different than that of his with the 3rd party and that WE had a problem.
I shall not be staying here again and am sad as this is the attitude to a returning customer over many years.
Finally, the maintenance of the appartments seems to have also deteriorated. We only had 1 curtain that didnt stretch across the whole window and beds that have obviously been made/repaired with a gap to the sides to the mattress that catch your leg getting out and creek terribly when you turn over.
Update - he did apologise and turned on air con on the 2nd night.
- Although i dont know if the 3rd party company or Booking.com mixed up the booking as booking.com ended the call after nearly 33 mins!!!!
