지갑을 분실해서 카드도 현금도 없는 상황에 긴급외화송금제도를 이용할 수 있어서 정말 다행입니다. 전 세계 곳곳에 대한민국 대사관이 있다는 게 너무나 감사한 일이었어요. 몇 번이고 전화를 걸어도 친절하게 답변해 주시고 해외의 난처한 상황에 처한 국민 한 사람에게 정말 큰 힘이 되어준 주 그리스 대한민국 대사관 영사과 직원분께 정말로 감사 드립니다.

It was with the greatest of expectations with which my family and I went with in order to have an audience with the most honourable and highly esteemed ambassador, Mr. Susuk LIM, and we were delighted to be able to talk with him in the comfort of one of the offices of the embassy, and we are especially grateful to the ambassador for taking time away from his busy schedule to be able to visit with us in between his many appointments. It was a very momentous occasion for everyone involved, for my father was sent to Korea from Greece to fight in the Korean conflict, and was not given any recognition at all until I informed the Korean Embassy about him, and his involvement with said conflict. This being said and done, my father was invited to the Korean War Commemoration which took place on June 25th, 2018, and it was the greatest event of his life, for he was never honored before by anyone, so it is with the utmost respect with which I commend the Embassy of the Republic of Korea for bestowing such honor upon my father, Mr. Vaios Bakagias, and especially to Ambassador LIM for placing the medal of service and valour upon him at the end of the ceremony, for which my father is eternally grateful, and will be remembered for his participation in the struggle for the liberation of the free peoples of the Republic of Korea, and their right to have a free and democratic government. To this end, we as a family want to express our gratitude towards the embassy as a whole, and most especially to Ambassador LIM, who showed such kindness and respect towards my father, and who I personally consider to be the most genuine human being I have ever met in my lifetime, bar none. Long Live the Ancient Dreams!
