★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed august 2018. 7 nights. Exceeded expectations. Well locted short walk into town and very peaceful at night. Good sized pool .Large bacony with nice views. Good bathroom.Air con and secure safe included. Would happily go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We planned a cycling holiday in Corfu for June 2020 but couldn’t go because of the Covid pandemic. The cancellation policy stated ‘The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel’. Clearly we did not cancel - we were unable to travel due to our flights being cancelled and the government recommending against travel to Greece. In legal terms this means the contract between us and the hotel has been ‘Frustrated’, ie due to factors outside of both parties control the contract cannot be fulfilled. Other hotels had the kindness and consideration to offer a refund in this situation, whereas Emily’s Apartments repeatedly refused. Instead they issued vouchers which are useless to us, as due to health concerns we are very unlikely to travel to Corfu in the next few years. Even if Emily’s Apartments felt protected by Greek law you would hope they would have some compassion for guests unable to take up bookings through no fault of their own. Think very carefully before booking with Emily’s Apartments. [After a year and no help from Emily’s Apartments our bank reclaimed the money from their account]

The pool is beautiful, maintained without the use of chlorine so this and it's surroundings make a pre-breakfast swim and hydro therapy utterly blissful. The property is set in the olive groves, aromatic plants and trees of Corfu...so a short walk into the village...to swim in an exquisitely beautiful safe cove, visit the harbour and church, both also beyond expectation, eat good food..and to visit a highlight of the village...Agati'sLace Shop, opposite the church. Here you can meet the last lace maker of Corfu and be shown not only very fine crochet lace but also her collection of Venetian lace, ribbon lace, needle lace...and no longer in action her bobbin lace cushion ...and her ancient loom, occupied with a rug when I visited. I purchased 2 pieces of white linen adorned with very fine crochet lace... a curtain and a table runner...real, genuine, stuff...fine, hand made and precious. As I say ...the last lace maker on Corfu and yes I think it does matter that the world is loosing these crafts. She does teach but I believe she stated the market is mainly for crochet skills for clothing. Her English is excellent.
