★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiter was very annoying. Like, he said the same unfunny jokes to everybody.
The food was horrible. We ordered two gyroses, the food was cold and the fries were overcooked, the pita was dry. The "tropical" chichken "fillet" was slices up to small cubes, and they gave FOUR small pieces of pineapple. The chichken was dry and the vegetables were raw. It also didnt have flavour. The waiter asked if we have any problem with the food, we told him then he walked away. ????(didnt even apologize or anything) At the end of the meal they gave us a plate with fruits. They said they give us this because we didnt like the food. BUT EVERYBODY got this plate at the end of their meal. Liars...
Dont recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well ive seen some of the negative reviews here and I have no idea why. I've eaten here many many times, I'm a chef by trade and this is the best food around here by far. The stsff are great and the lady owner is the most beautiful lady on the island of Crete.? See you guys soon xx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, very clean family run taverna in the heart of Koutouloufari. Choice of seating, overlooking the quaint village street or up on the vast roof terrace with views down to the port of Hersonissos, both ideal places to dine.
This year has seen the addition of a wood burning oven providing tasty “daily specials” to complement the wonderful restaurant meals. All of the staff are warm & welcoming and once you’ve been you will return…….we love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just returned from another holiday in Koutouloufari. Have been dining at this amazing restaurant for 10 years. All dishes are delicious with plenty of choices. Staff very friendly & make you feel part of the family. It’s always a pleasure to return to Esperos and to be welcomed by the lovely Eveline & Manolis & team. Highly recommend this delightful taverna - you won’t be disappointed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous view from the roof terrace and great service. We went for the tradional Greek kitchen and ordered lamb with honey and nuts and the lamb Kleftiko. Both dishes were very nice and tasteful, although the lamb in the Kleftiko was a little on the dry side. Great food for a good price.
