β β β β β Wonderful food very fresh just a long wait do not mind that for mains as they did inform us. Need to come out with breads and starters sooner to ease the wait. Having said that fish was amazing and the best calamari I have ever had ?

More than that, the service is outstanding and makes you feel like being on a family visit.

β β β β β Simply a truly amazing restaurant run by a lovely and gentle family . The food and the ingredients are excellent and the quantity will not leave you hungry. Fish is the main course but also many other things. Prices are reasonable and the whole experience amazing! Recommend 100%!

β β β β β Definitely one of the best spots in the area! Great food (thank god they don't serve everything from pasta to burger like the other restaurants) and great service. Booking a table upfront is recommended! We will come again for sure!

and try! I have been to different places on the island, especially the ones with good reviews. I have been disappointed a few times. This restaurant is the best by far. We had the zucchini courgettes, octopus, pastitsio, calamari and seafood risotto.

β β β β β What can I say about this place. Friendly, inviting and makes me feel sad when I have to leave.
If you're a person like me that loves seafood with a passion, this place uses some great fresh ingredients and seafood. I came back especially to try the two person seafood meze with my friend. Omg the fish dishes (huge prawns, mussels fried calamari etc) along with the medium sweet white wine i was floating on cloud nine. Till I was bought back down to earth with lots of raki which they bought after the meal (they will not take no for an answer lol). I am not going to bore you with how much I like the place, see the pics I attached and make up your own minds. But I will say you will be missing out and a fool not to try. Thank you everyone at Nikos the Fishermans.

β β β β β Wonderful experience at Nikos last night. We had Pork Souvlakani, Meatballs, medi salad. All were a lovely take on traditional Greek taverna meals. All meals and cooking done by lovely family. To cap it all we had an amazing desert of custard and filo shards worthy of Master Chef. Pictures attached.
A true hidden gem of a Cretan restaurant. 5 stars
