★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Observatorium ist einer dieser markanten Orte in Kefalonia die wahrscheinlich dem Blick der Götter gleichstanden. Wer es bis hier geschafft hat, der geniesst einen schönen Ausblick auf Valsamata, dass beeindruckende Kloster Moni Agiou Gerasimou und den Bergen in Richtung Poros und Sami. Von hier sind es nur noch 11km bis zur Spitze vom Ainos Oros und dem Ainos National Park. Die Abfahrt mit dem Fahrrad ist ein Highlight!
The observatory is one of those striking places in Kefalonia that probably resembled the gaze of the gods. Those who have made it here will enjoy a beautiful view of Valsamata, the impressive monastery of Moni Agiou Gerasimou and the mountains in the direction of Poros and Sami. From here it is only 11km to the top of Ainos Oros and Ainos National Park. The descent by bike is a highlight!
