C	Ciprian Barbat on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This tourism company, EYE TRAVEL AGENCY – Herssonisos, does not deserve even one one star, the have awful services. I booked a trip to Knossos by EYE TRAVEL AGENCY and they established the meeting point very far from our hotel (1.2 kilometers distance). It was a misunderstanding of the meeting point and we cannot arrive in time. I called at the helpcenter and a lady told me to stay where we are (in front of Lytos Beach Hotel) because they will send another bus to pick up us. This was a lie, because we have waited in sun about one hour and half and nobody came to us. They cancelled the trip and they refused to give my money back. So, stay away from them.

The money was paid back correctly, but our children were very disappointed and we had to improvise. 2 days later, we did the safari … It was not what we expected for that price. Max 1/4 of the route was off-road, the jeeps were in a deplorable state and our guide was quite pedantically.

Tip: book the excursion directly on their web site or at their office to get the best price AND make sure the guys get most of the money you pay to keep their business running.
L	Lenni Ree on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best address to book trips at Crete! We booked a wonderful trip to Agios Nikolaus, Spinalonga and an olive oil factory. The charming guide Taïna was very entertaining and made this trip unforgettable. Not to forget her English was fluent and very easy to understand. We also heard her speaking fluently in at least four more languages. Taïna took us to her favorite places and gave us interesting information about their history. Her lovely personality made even the drives in the bus all fun. We want to thank Taïna and Eye Travel for this highlight of our trip to Crete and we can only strongly recommend every tourist at Crete to discover the island with Eye Travel.

We also got to enjoy a nice lunch in Plaka. Our Tour guide Taïna has been an absolute pleasure, well informed and easy to talk to. We really enjoyed this tour an can strongly recommend Eye Travel Excursions!

From the moment we spoke with her on the phone she was incredibly warm and funny and even coordinated picking us up even though our hotel was a little bit outside of their normal range. This was the PERFECT way to see a lot of the island (Crete is very large) in just one day and we would’ve never seen so much of Crete without this tour. Tanya was incredibly knowledgeable about the island and very easy to talk to as she has lived a very interesting life and is fluent in 7 languages! She constantly checked in to make sure we were comfortable and ask if we had any questions and gave us a VIP experience as we toured this beautiful island. The tour included lunch in a small Crete village which was delicious and we got to tour an olive oil factory next door! Overall, this was not only one of the best tours on our trip but one of the best tours of our lives! This was one of the most fun experiences we could have imagined and we highly recommend you book and ask for Tanya!
