S	Stevie Ballingall on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing hotel with some of the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. It is clear to see that very few brits are visiting, having been told that we were the first British people one person had seen all season. However I have felt far safer here at the hotel and around the island than I do back home in the UK on any given day. Food is buffet style with some nice choices, both traditional and back home dishes, drink is house wine and local draught along with a good choice of hot and soft drinks. Cocktails are available at a very reasonable rate and make sure to sample the honey Raki from Gortys supermarket over the road, after all Raki is a must in Crete. Bedrooms are basic with comfy but firm beds, remote control aircon, a fridge and a TV, along with a walk in shower, wet room. Cleaned daily, even if you are asleep and you don't put the do not disturb card out as my father-in-law found out. Nice pool, and loungers were always available, I can't express how amazing the staff are here. I don't often return to hotels as I like new experiences but we will be definitely be returning here again soon. If I had one complaint, it is the walk up the hill if you want to nip to the local shops, very draining in 40° heat. Its the price you pay however for beautiful views. Invest in an ATV or motorbike whilst here, you won't regret it.

Delicious food, typical greek room standard for this amount of stars, air conditioning included in the final price during the high season, generally helpful hotel crew. You have to remember that the swimming pool is salty as well as the shower near to it. To sum up - very good memories from our honeymoon ?

Great (and plenty) of food, different types, sweets, fruit and ice-cream, snacks available between lunch and dinner, drinks available from 11am to 11pm. Great staff, always willing to help and always nice and friendly. Clean rooms and cleaning service everyday. Even the pool and the bar is so nice and relaxing. The only thing I would suggest is to change the furniture in the rooms, however I understand that the pandemic didn't help either. We can only recommend it! It has been a great experience and will definately come back next time we will be in Crete.

The only problem is the location, hotel is located on the hill and climbing up to your room or even hotel is very exhausting, definitely impossible for people with disabilities.(the road to the hotel on the pic) There is a lift but it takes you only on the first floor, which is pointless because most of the rooms are located higher so you still have to walk the stairs with your heavy bags.Nearest “beach” is ~25minute walk away. Taking a taxi to the center(not Heronissos but street with shops and clubs) costs 8€. The pool is good.

Delicious and varied food. Rooms are cleaned daily. It is also possible to rent a car and travel around Crete. The hotel has wonderful views of nature. The beach is nearby. I really still want to get back to this amazing place. The holidays were amazing. Thanks to all the hotel staff, they made my holiday even better than I expected.
