★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το Φιδόκαστρο είναι ένα ερειπωμένο κάστρο του 9ου μχ αιώνα. Η θέση στην οποία βρίσκεται, ταυτίζεται με τον Αρχαίο Άμβρακο, το επίνειο της Αμβρακίας. Τα ερείπια του Άμβρακου βρίσκονται κοντά στις όχθες της λιμνοθάλασσας Λογαρού, περίπου 4 χλμ. από το χωριό Ψαθοτόπι και απέχει από την πόλη της Άρτας περίπου 16 χλμ. Η πρόσβαση είναι εφικτή μόνο από το Ψαθοτόπι, μέσω του δρόμου που οδηγεί στο κοντινό ιχθυοτροφείο. Επιτακτική ανάγκη η κατασκευή σύγχρονου δρόμου και ο καθαρισμός της περιοχής από την υψηλή βλάστηση ώστε να αναδειχθεί το συγκεκριμένο μνημείο. Η επίσκεψη κατά τους χειμερινούς μήνες είναι εξαιρετικά δύσκολη λόγω της λάσπης και θα ήταν καλό να αποφευχθεί.
 Fidokastro is a ruined castle of the 9th century AD. Its location is identified with Ancient Amvrakos, the port of Amvrakia. The ruins of Amvrakos are located near the shores of the Logaros lagoon, about 4 km from the village of Psathotopi and about 16 km from the town of Arta. Access is possible only from Psathotopi, via the road leading to the nearby fish farm. It is imperative the construction of a modern road and the cleaning of the area from the high vegetation in order to highlight the specific monument. Visiting during the winter months is extremely difficult due to the mud and should be avoided.
