β β β β β It's more than the 10th time I visit Finikas and the guest experience continue to be great. The waiters are exceptional and the food from the kitchen combines the excellent Cretan taste and quality with the European design. The portion is big and the prices reasonable. Last time we tried their most expensive plate (Fiikas Fillet) which was the best cooked fillet with a Great potato in the oven. Also their schnitzel and the steak were great.

β β β β β We've been to several taverna's in the area the past week. This was without a doubt the very best! Not on the main road, so no noisy, stinky traffic!
Nice menu, delicious food!
And not pushy to get us to the restaurant. Almost all of the other restaurant begin to talk you in. They didn't do that. Friendly people.
I absolutly recomend this restaurant.

β β β β β Lovely restaurant with very friendly staff and delicious food. The playground for children is a very welcomed addition and the cocktails are great. The street it's very picturesque post card Greece type of place.

β β β β β Finikas is a warm, relaxed family-owned restaurant that is simple yet great. The menu is quite varied, well-priced and - most importantly - the food is great. The waiters, all brothers, are very friendly and the restaurant itself has amenities for both sunshine and rain. The restaurant is family-friendly as well, as they have a small playground. It is located on the corner of restaurant, so the child-free customers aren't disturbed by too much noise from playing children, while parents can still be seated close to their children. The restaurant is located off the main road, so you have no noise from passing vehicles. At the end of your meal, we got a small dessert - a piece of pie, mother's recipe - and some raki or ouso. It should be no surprise that we came back to this restaurant during our stay in Rethymnon.
