★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At one time this hotel WAS great,, NOT ANY MORE ! I have referred this place to 4 families the last 18 months. ALL of them had a bad experience. I decided to risk it and re-visited this summer. MISTAKE,,,terrible service, NO HOSPITALITY. They act as they're doing you a favor. 1st off, there's a mafiozo looking guy with glasses roaming, he stares everyone down making you uncomfortable. They clean your room and change towels ONCE A WEEK, They lied and told us every other day,,, well, 1 day the lady was sick, the weekend they don't clean,,etc.Over charged us after proving them wrong with emails we confirmed months before. Their response : We gave you a good deal compared to others,,,what?!? Almost never present at front desk after 9pm. Never tended to room problems (and there were many) safe box EXTRA charge,,,all they ever said,,,EXTRA CHARGE. They rudely offended my family cause they brought a bottle water to the pool cause it wasn't purchased there.
I can go on forever. I give everyone a couple chances,,,but its a VERY BAD MANAGED HOTEL,,,YOU WILL REGRET STAYING THERE,,,Some good hotel choices in area -Ariadne, -Nefeli (incredible),,, DON't RUIN YOUR TRIP,,, AVOID THIS NIGHTMARE

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent 4 days in this very nice hotel with direct access to the beach. Our 4 year old daughter loved the kids pool and we really enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach every night. We stayed in one of the large new rooms, they are really spacious and clean. There were two separate rooms and in the dining area there is a small kitchen with a stovetop and a fridge. We also really loved the enormous balcony and the quietness in the hotel. The small town with souvenirshops, supermarket, and restaurants is only 50 m from the hotel. The staff is very friendly, especially in the reception.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hotel, lovely people,and location was excellent.The Marinos is family run, and they couldn't do enough to make you welcome.
It is in a prime location,rooms are beautifully decorated and air conditioned which is controlled by you (rare).
Their own restaurant serves great food, and their Greek night was wonderful,both dancers and food.
Gardens are a delight and rooms are immaculately cleaned every day.
we will be back next year!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For 8 yrs coming here and we will always come back! Wonderful family running this hotel. Very clean, nice looking and perfectly well maintained rooms, palm garden, pool and beach area. Breakfast included in our holiday package with freshly made greek dishes but also continental stuff; lunch also freshly made so try to order the authentic dishes instead of the usual toasties or club sandwiches..it is worth it!
Cannot wait to return next time!

Unfortunately they don't have plates and cutlery in room, witch is strange when the room is equipped with electrical hob...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect!!! Could not imagine better place to stay in Crete. Reception staff helpful and friendly, cleaning lady very nice and very professional and bartenders always happy and chatty. Swimming pool amazing and sea just next to it. Breakfast was lovely too. ???. Everything with a walking distance to the best taverns and shops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is well located in front of beach, they have a very big and enjoyable swimming pool with lots of chairs and umbrellas, breakfast is good and have fresh fruits, the restaurant serves delicious Greek food and it's not expensive! They offer some beach chairs and umbrellas for 5 euro for the day. The staff is super friendly and helpful! ? The rooms are clean and depending of your luck you might get an renovated room or old one, we stayed on the old apartment but it wasn't that bad, except the toilet which was not so good and comfortable to use and shower box which didn't have the soap hanger or curtains. But overall our stay was very pleasant.
