Fisherman's Cabin - Μακραδες

One of the best experiences I had in corfu. The hotel owner told me about it. It is located on the trail leading to Sant georgio . Offering amazing tasty and fresh ingredients . The calamari was exceptional.

Really good food, nice staff, the prices are quite high. I enjoyed the decor of the taverna. You can get there by car, but the road is quite narrow or on foot. It's approx. 20 min. walk

Best fish dishes we've ever had (the stuffed Calamari in particular)! Amazing view (especially towards the evening hours) and extremely friendly, attentive staff. It doesn't get closer to delicious Greek food. Also, consider walking down the infamous rough loose-surfaced old donkey trail donkey path. It's an experience!

What can I say to describe this place other than it's truly out of this world and an amazing experience. First order of business, getting there. My wife and I were lucky enough to befriend a bartender in Agios Georgios who got her boss to drive us on the 10min off-road trail. If coming by vehicle, you'll definitely want a more robust auto such as a jeep or truck. It's mostly dirt, hilly and dotted with crater sized potholes. Most people we saw at the restaurant had walked in and had bags. The journey getting here was part of the experience. The restaurant itself reminded me of the Caribbean, small, colorful and with zero pretentiousness. The food tasted as good as any 5 star restaurant we've eaten at, minus the cost was far more reasonable and the setting was so much more fun and relaxed. To put it simply, this is a journey you make for the freshest seafood and an amazing sunset. The menu is never the same and in fact there isn't a "menu". When you walk in there's a board with what they are cooking that day. Do not come here if you want French fries and burgers, they don't exist. Fish, fish and more fish is what you are getting. The staff was friendly and nice and the owner even treated us to some good homemade liquor in the end. Would 100% eat here again and in fact traverse the island again (like we did) to come back.

It’s the last visible light from the beach - and literally you have to fight yourselves there in order to reach this hidden gem. Don’t follow google maps as it will bring you to a road what cannot be taken even with 4x4. Take the road next to the beach. Only cash. High(er) prices, but worth all pennies. Only fish and seafood can be ordered but those are far the best maybe on the whole island. Lovely view, not too many people know about it. A place what will bring you back there definitely.

Best, place, in Corfu or even Greece! It is a must stop!! We found this place by accident and the lobster with spaghetti was absolutely out of this world!! It is a family business in the traditional Greek way and the place is raw and authentik! It was beautiful and an extraordinary experience for us! I would come to Corfu again just for this!

Most amazing fish at this restaurant. I had the red snapper it was the best I’ve ever had. Also the Corfiot salad with orange and red pepper is really amazing. Grilled cheese excellent too as appetizer. Great setting under the trees by the sea. I believe reservations are needed. family run - they are very nice and sympathetic. Note: cash only. No dessert or coffee.

Most special place seen, tasted and felt in Corfu, Greece. It's a traditional family business and the narrow road is totally worth it, because when you get there, you totally feel the greek spirit. Amazing and fresh seafood and local ingredients, breezy air at the tables, quiet white and blue all over. It was the best place I ever ate in Greece ? but if you go there, please respect the silence and the fact that it's an authentic and retired corner. I would recommend calling for a reservation and have cash ??? loved it, definitely going back some day! You can even get down to the beach and see the sunset ☀️
