★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my boyfriend and I had dinner at Giasemi (“Jasmine”) several nights during a week-long stay on Hydra, and we looked forward to it every time. the atmosphere is fresh and peaceful with lovely outside seating on a beautiful street, the waiters are incredibly helpful and kind, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. we particularly loved the daily specials like fresh fish and Greek ratatouille- some of the best food we’ve had, let alone on Hydra. we very highly recommend :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic spot for dinner or lunch for your stay in Hydra. The food was delicious, the service was more than great, the environment cozy and the prices just right for an otherwise notoriously expensive island. Every single dish was made, prepared and served with passion and it showed. The salads were fresh, the appetizers home cooked and the main courses where filled with flavors. The wine was excellent as well. Try it when you next visit the Island, you won't miss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flawlessly cooked fish, best French fries ever, friendliest service in Hydra - I went about 5 times in the course of a month, sometimes alone and sometimes with friends, and it was consistently excellent, my favourite on this beautiful island. Highly recommend!

We tried the grilled pork chops, they were extremely tender and delicious.
The portions almost killed us so probably it makes more sense to share.
Enormous piece of lemon for scale :D

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our absolute favourite meal in Greece so far! The staff was super friendly and was very helpful in picking something to eat (plus identifying whether or not something had dairy - most did not!). The sea bass was AMAZING, the prawns were delicious, and the chicken from the oven was so tender and juicy. You must have the eggplant and red sauce and we’d suggest having it on the bread. The boiled greens were also wonderful and a healthy addition when you’re on holiday and may be eating out every meal. The prices were relatively average but it was amazing value for money - can’t miss this place when visiting Hydra.
