L	Louis Naude on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot think of a better solution if you need an affordable place to stay and want some piece and quiet away from the hussle and bussle, but only a few minutes walking away from the harbour. Room no 1 is large with high ceiling. Very friendly and helpful staff. I'm 60 and travelling with my wife: had no problems getting there with luggage. A few steps, but nice and wide. Hydra is fantastic!

M	Meidan Anav on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Athina Guesthouse, could be rightfuly called; Evita's Guesthouse. Evita is the energy behind this guest house, with a feeling of home. She is very caring, enthusiastic to help you out and also very pretty. Her warm attitude belittles the small issues that might be there. The rooms are very spacy, bed was very comfortable. There's a well equiped kitchenet in every room with coffee, tea, jam, butter, milk capsules and water bottle. This is enough to have you going in the morning. The bathroom also has all the toiletry that you need. The place is tucked away in a quiet part but very close to the center of things like the port, restaurants and shops. The patio/veranda is nice to sit in for breakfast or some beer and wine in the evening. A nice place!

She gave me all the necessary tips/recommendations for a solo traveler and things to do in Hydra! I am sure i will return to Hydra soon and for sure stay here again! I already miss this place!

Our room was great (spacious, beautiful, extremely clean). One of the best guesthouses on the island. A piece of advice: visit Kamini and Vlychos (fascinating places)!

Location was great- close to the port but set back so it was lovely and tranquil. Very good value for money for a stay on Hydra. We would definitely return.
