★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little restaurant, away from the noise and the very touristic areas of Chania. you can sit inside or outside, and they have a great selection of salads, food, wines and cocktails. The staff was very helpful and polite and we enjoyed it very much! Definitely recommend it!!

The location is so good, interior is perfect and the service was the nicest in Chania.
The food was delicious- i can highly recommend omelet with cheese and mushrooms, so good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant serves beautiful authentic Italian food. I had the lemon shrimp pasta and my friend had the tuna spaghetti. Both were flavoursome and a real delight for the tastebuds. All of the ingredients were locally grown/fishes and tasted wonderful. The dining area is clean and hosts a small boutique. Service was impeccable particularly the lady who I think either owns or manages the restaurant. It was definitely the best dining experience we had in Chania.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ginger has a lot going for it - gorgeous location in a little Venetian square under a lush pink bougainvillea, and a lovely menu with food that lives up to expectations. Unfortunately, on our visit, the service was terrible. We had the misfortune of being served by a surly waiter who seemed to not even want to be at work. Mid-service the head waiter noticed that his employee was not doing a very good job and swapped in a perfectly lovely and courteous waiter. To make it up they gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco - it was a good move.
Food wise, we had the tuna tartare which was fresh and delicious - it could have had a bit more flavour but perfectly satisfying. I had one of their pizzas which was enormous and very tasty. My partner had the tuna linguini, also a very generous portion, and very good too. We had a bottle of Geranium rosé which was very fresh and perfect with the food.
The following morning we had breakfast there - as it was part of our hotel’s breakfast plan. The breakfast was fantastic, coffee was on point, and, happily, the service was cheerful and attentive.
You should go, just be aware that they have service issues - and it is not a cheap restaurant. A shame really, as it could have been such a lovely experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the best food I've tasted lately. We ordered ginger salad and risotto and the food came quickly and was presented well. The food tasted absolutely amazing. Seriously cannot recommend this enough. Beautifully scenery aswell and great prices too. For anyone travelling to Χανιά, this is a must visit.
