Good driver, but a guide who did not know how to explain much to us. "I think, I think..." And average lunchtime restaurant because it's not traditional enough. We had been sold a tavern with mezze while we had starters, classic non-Greek dishes. Expensive day for what it was. Driver better than the guide in the end.

We had a fantastic day visiting an olive grove, a ceramic factory, a cascade, an awesome 4x4 road trip using unlikely roads through the mountains and a wonderful view point on the Lybie sea and the south coast of Crete. Our driver was incredible. I strongly recommand every one to book a circuit with this company. You will meet great people who love their country, know it by heart and will make you love this Island more than ever. Thanks Go Crete Safari and thank you very much Andreas. We recently paid to join the jeep safari. We travelled and saw some beautiful scenery. The views and points visited were great. We saw lots of mountains, olive trees, water and caves. The viewpoints themselves were nice. But unfortunately the service received ruined the experience for us. Our tour guide was more interested in wooing the young females in our group than talking to the group as a whole. We had a German couple in our jeep who didn’t speak any English, therefore we had to google translate for them throughout the ride. This isn’t what we paid to do and unfair on both parts. This meant we weren’t spoken to about the history/info on each stop. We were also left behind at our second stop and had to chase after our group as they’d left before the meeting time we’d been given, and unnoticed we were missing. This created stress and upset after this. The jeep we rode in kept breaking down and losing power, we were stopping/starting on main roads and the motorway a lot and drifted from the group of jeeps. We stopped for food which was plain chicken and rice, for the money we paid we were expecting a bit more than this after the long day. We were really disappointed with the customer service received on this trip, I didn’t believe it was worth our time nor money and will not be returning. If we had a professional guide and working jeep I’m sure it would’ve been better, but for what should’ve been a fun day - turned to be stressed and frustrating.

Fantastic day with lovely views and helpful guides. Lots of surprises on the way including food. Saw amazing parts of Crete I would never have seen otherwise. Mountains / waterfalls / beaches and breathtaking views They were even helpful enough to send me photos of the day after my phone broke and I was left with no photos at all. Would recommend to anyone.

Nikos and the team were excellent. They took efforts to get to know each person, kept up conversation and were very informative as we traveled. The views were stunning, the food was fresh and tasty, and the beach was great. Feels very safe off road with Nikos driving. Would recommend the day to anyone. They were excellent with all the children too.

Our driver Nontas picked us up at our hotel and made sure we had a great day. He is fun and friendly, but also speaks a lot of languages very well. Dutch, German and also Greek of course. Nontas knows his way around and drives the Land Rover very well. The tour takes you to some nice viewing points, as well as the beautiful Sarakina Gorge. Really a recommendation during your visit on Crete. The Jeep Safari is also extremely affordable!
