The existing bar has been transformed in an excellent restaurant, serving delicious Cretan and international food. Their Gemista (peppers, tomatoes and zucchini filled with rice and herbs) is the best we have ever found all over the island in our previous trips in Crete. Try also Chef's Lamb and the Mousaka and you won't regret. Kind and professional staff and always smiling faces. Well done, team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate here twice this week. 4 adults, 2 young kids. Brilliant from start to finish. Really friendly, personal and helpful. Quick service. Great food. Lovely setting. Can’t recommend it highly enough for a relaxing lunch by a lovely family beach.

That was the reaction of my foreign friend when I took him during the sunset to this beautiful restaurant by the sea ?.
What should I say first? About its location! That sounds about right ✅️.
You have such a beautiful landscape to walk on, a beautiful beach to swim at and a place where you can play volleyball ?.
After all this, your belly is growling for food!
So you answer its call ?, and decide to take a walk towards Golden Bay Restaurant!
The food quality is top tier ?, no question about that.
But what's even better, is the hospitality of the staff! My friend already feels it like it's his "second home" even though he has been there 3 times only! Everyone, from Marianna, Panagiotis and so on, were so genuine and kind towards us that made us feel special!
