★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hotel with a pool and the beach is unreal, very shallow water and calm, there is a lifeguard on duty as well. There is also a restaurant and bar, the food is delicious my family and I had the best time, can't wait to go back, wish I never left!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Suites no complaints only we were told on our hotel itinerary that no one under 18 allowed but there were many ranging from toddlers to teenagers! A little disappointed as we wanted peace and quiet! Service and staff throughout the resort were excellent! Very clean!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had great time at Golden Bay, everything we need for a relaxing vacation. Clean room, good service, beautiful beach view, close to many nice restaurants, just 9€ for a taxi to go to Chania old town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay away. Hotel has 50 meters of private beach which is the worst in the whole bay area. Its a death trap for kids, old umbrella plastic tubes are pocking out, sea weed, dirt and stones.
To top it all, the charge guests for sunbeds in that dump. We had to go and pay for sunbeds in the beach next door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and clean hotel. Our balcony had a wonderful view towards the ocean. The stuff was super friendly and always willing to help. With the beach right infront of your doorstep its the perfect place for summer relaxation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was no elevator so we had to took many stairs with our heavy luggages. When I got into my room, (unit 40) the smell of the room was very bad, AC remote control was missing (30 degrees out), a large hole in the washroom wall and too many bugs. Also all the lightings were too dark. So I called front desk, she brought me remote controls for AC and TV. AC wasn't working and there was no TV. Only TV hanger on the wall. I called the front desk again, manager came to our room, checked AC machines and she couldn't fix it so she called a technician. The technician wasn't wearing a mask. He even went into our bedroom and living room. He said he will be back and didn't come back for three hours. It was 30 degrees and my family was in a smelly hot room.
Also I complained about the smell and the manager said it's semi-basement, it supposed to be smelly.
Thankfully, I was relocated by Expedia relocation team so I didn't need to stay there.
