So much effort built in. Bravo. Excellent staff, great food and drinks. Music was not of my type (techno mega ultra trans), but the sound system and the quality excels.

A great and unique beach, the way getting there is reachable through a road where you need to be a little careful but it is totally worth it. There is a marble dust in the car afterwards. The water and the marble stones are very beautiful!

One of the best beaches I have visited on the island. Unlike it's counter part, the famous Marble Beach which is 300 m closer to the main road, this Beach is bigger, has better services : free sunbeds with marble tables, waiter on the beach, and similar prices (5 euro 0.33l beer, 8 for cocktails, 8 for gyros, 30 for a shisa) It's not as crowded, but a reservation could be useful, the water is the same, music on the beach is not too loud, (i suppose it depends where you are seated), bigger parking, and wi fi. The only possible downside is that the sand and marble pebbles seem a little raugher since it's a newly made place And the anchor buoys are quite fun if you enjoy jumping in the water. We had a very pleasant experience there and would recommend this place. P.s. There is the possibility that a very large ship would anchor for loading nearby making a lot of noise so that could deduct a star.

Porto Vathy Marble Beach Marble beach 2 (because there are two Marble beaches) is one of these place where advertisement makes it much more attractive that it is in reality. Honestly i don't recomment to go there or you may go once to make sure you have not missed such a famous place. But let me explain. Marble beach is a part of a quarry for extracting marble. The crane and piles of crashed marble are seen in the south end of the beach. In the water there are some industrial wooden devices, which kids are usign to jump in the water. There is no sand but very tiny marble stones. The water is not clear, no matter what picture show you. It is not transperant. It is like a cocktail with tremendous colors. There are sunbeds all over the beach. It is interesting the idea to fix the umbrealas into giant square marble stones, which are also used as small beach table. There is a parking lot and taverna. Parking is free of charge. You have to order food or/and beverages for 15 or more EUR and sunbeds and umbreala is for free. We did not visit the taverna. If you curious to see what a marble beach is look like they go and visit, if you are not that kind of person you will not lose nothing not going to the Marble beach. p.s. Porto Vathy Marbel Beach answered my review by aksing what improvements i can propose. The most important that can be done is to make a glass fence separating the road from the areas with sunbeds. Because cars are going in both directions making huge amount of dust. Secondly i would have proposed the wooden industrial deivces to be taken off the water if possible. I would also suggest to reduce amount of sunbeds and respectively increase the price of the sunbads this way there will les tourists, you will not lose money and stay will be more pleasant. Anyway i will continue to explore Greece. I love your country very much.

Porto Varhi is a very nice beach bar at Marble Beach. The location is beautiful but is a bit complicated to be there. The beach is in a quarry bay. It's It's very unique place made from marble. The beach has no sand but marble dust, there is a block of marble instead of a table and inside the sea there is marble sand. You should visit it but keep in mind that is a tourist attraction so delayes may occur

Very pretty, but very clinincal and stark. Sea quite cold as well- compared to other local beaches. You have to say you have been here if you have travelled to Thassos

Amazing location for the beach. White colour rocks and sand reflect the blue waters beautifully. Food and drink service was fast and delicious. Make sure to come early anytime before 11 as the place does get busy, and for good reason. We struggled to find enough sunbeds and umbrellas for our family of 8 until it got less busy in the afternoon. Nice beach volleyball court make sure to bring a ball! Great music and energy from the staff. Be careful as the sand does have some small rocks and pebbles but as is expected with the surrounding marble.
