★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best camping in Crete, amazing hospitality from the personal and the manager ,friendly for animals, safety for all , very clean in the facilities, is 6 year that I am going there I cannot wait the next time be in grameno camping and also the beautiful scenery of the kedros forest near ,the 2 option beach if the wind is strong is also a big plus... thank you very match grameno.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This camping is great! We had a sea view spot for our tent, which was really amazing. The sea is cristal clear and great for snorkling. Hot showers, but the dish washing area only has cold water... The reason why I only give 4 stars is because the price was a bit steep for us. Not extreme (32 Euro per night for 2 persons, 1 tent, 1 car and electricity). But higher than we are used to. Also, it takes around 1 hour to get somewhere else interesting (e.g. other nice beaches or bigger cities). Paleachora however is great. It is 4km from the camping and offers everything you need from shops to restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic place, nice people, good service, wonderful location. The amenities are very good, and the bar and taverna have an uplifting atmosphere. It is a high standard camping!! Georgia and the staff are warm and professional. Sunset by the enormous beach is a pkace to be❤

Kathy thank you ? for our early morning meals….Alex thank you for our daily lunch/dinner service so gracious & patient. Chef Petro “You are amazing!!”RESPECT to you for your consistent & “on point” execution of our daily meals….especially dinner!! Maintenance staff, OUTSTANDING!! Grounds & Facilities WELL MAINTAINED!! We loved ? it so much, we’ve already booked to return in September.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few campings open all year. Wonderful experience and friendly staff. I recommend a walk on the peninsula to the left of the beach, the scenery is beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience! It can get really windy but the sea stays calm even then and you can go for a swim. The facilities were in great shape. Everything you need is inside the camp. Our young children had the best time there and even for our 3 year old everything was easy. We shall be back..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely campsite. I stayed in a wooden tent and it was perfect. Walking out to have the sand on your feet was paradise. The beach is really clean and the restaurant food is 5 star. . Daily specials on the board are a must to try.
Facilities very clean and staff super helpful and friendly.
Really good vibe to the whole place.
I will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent two weeks in the camping and all I can do is praise the amazing beach next to it, the naturalistic spots for the tents under the cedars, the regular cleaning and the super friendly staff. The place is not very big, but it is quite well organized. It has many showers and toilets and you never get a queue, even during peak season. There are many families with kids but there is no noise, all is quiet, easy to relax. The food at the canteen is decent, with many options and good prices. Very nice coffee and plenty of snacks. The mini market has only a few necessary things, it is better to plan ahead if you need anything specific. The only thing that bothered us was the wind, which can get pretty annoying in Southern Creta. But wouldn't spoil the good time we had there. If you need a sense of free camping, with all the facilities of an organized one, this is the place.
