Greenmotion don’t have an office at Athens Airport so they collect you in a shuttle, but my shuttle was an hour late for the pre-arranged pickup time, even though the 3 calls I made they told me they were 5 minutes away each time, then at the office they didn’t have a car ready for almost another hour and when it was it was smaller than the car I had booked and it wouldn’t fit my family and the luggage at the same time. The car I booked could fit 2 standard suitcases in the boot (tested before the trip) but the car they gave me couldn’t. It also had existing damage and the build plate said it is over 4 years old, not the current model as shown on their website. The staff were indifferent and unhelpful and I can not recommend using Greenmotion

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a car from them last week and although the car was okay, I was not impressed with the service. I was rushed through check-in, was strongly pressured to take a car different from what I was asked for, and the insurance offered was obscenely expensive. Most of all, I asked for a GPS and the first one he pulled out of a box had a defective touchscreen which I returned after having to argue about it, and the second one was pushed on me with assurances it worked in English. Well, yes. Sort of. The commands worked in English but there were no English language maps which kind of defeated the purpose of having a GPS. So I carried around a 70 Euro brick in the car for a week. If you go with these guys - be careful.
