Definitely will be using Grekostar anytime I need a car rental in the future. My car was immaculate and well affordable, whilst providing me the reliability to get around Northern Greece on my travels. Plus the staff were super helpful and always courteous to deal with. AVOID AVOID AVOID. UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE, DECEITFUL AND CAN COST YOU A LOT OF MONEY LIKE IT DID IN MY CASE (400 euros extra). I made a reservation with Grekostar 4 months before arriving at Thessaloniki Airport. I thought it was a good idea to support a small business instead of the usual big car hire companies. When i made the reservation i got an email from Grekostar saying a company employee will be expecting us at the arrivals to take us to the rental car. Unfortunately when we arrived at the airport noone was there. We called at the office and a lady said they had come but did not find us so they left. That sounded weird as we were there on time but anyway she then reassured us that someone was on his way to us with a car. After 1 hour had past waiting outside the airport and a couple more phone calls to the office the guy who was supposed to bring us the car, Mr M. (who the lady at the phone said was the company owner) admitted that he had NO CAR AVAILABLE for us!!! Turns out they never came at the arrivals in the first place and lied to us as they had no car. Mr M. said he would possibly have a car 9 hours after the agreed time. Mind you, we had already booked a ferry 330Km away in Igoumenitsa in the afternoon. He said he would try to find a solution. After 1 more hour had past he said he could not find a car. He then ridiculously offered to take us to the bus station to take a bus to Igoumenitsa!!! If we wanted to travel by bus we would not have reserved a car in the first place. Meanwhile we contacted the car rental companies at the airport and they had cars available. However in August last minute we would have to pay 650 euros for the same amount of days instead of the 250 euros agreed 4 months earlier with Grekostar (See attached photos that verify the prices mentioned). I suggested to Mr M. that Grekostar should pay the price difference since they were the ones that did not keep their part of the deal and left us without a car. Mr M. said he could not do that but we should take the 650 euro car and work out the money issue later. He went on saying he would claim the money from the previous customer who failed to return the car on time and give it to us. The absurdity of this proposition on behalf of Grekostar is beyond belief. Anyway, long story short we paid 650 euros for a car from AVIS instead of the 250 euros from Grekostar. That is 400 euros more. And of course we haven't received a single euro from Grekostar. Moral of the story: SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND RENT FROM A DIFFERENT RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY.

We book first time from internet directly it was easy... At the delivery we met Mixalis, friendly, helpful and excellent professional. handed us a clean car in excellent condition! We contacted him for some information during our booking and he answered the phone immediately and gladly gave us whatever information we wanted. From this time every time we need a car in Thessaloniki we directly trust GrekoStar!!

Recommended 5/5!!! The customers service is beyond reality. They were so helpful and so good with us with everything! They took us from our destination about 8 km and bring us to their office to take the car. When we returned the car they even returned us to our location. Best prices, best cars , best values!
