The ruins are not accessible, but the hill itself provides a great panoramic view across large part of the island. If you plan to go there from Ftelia beach, have in mind that the road is quite difficult - steep, narrow and with occasional holes. It is much better to go from Ano Mera and descend towards the sea.

Probably it was a castle a while ago but now there are just a couple of stones packed on each other which signs it was a building earlier. Anyway, there is beautiful view to the island, surrounding villages and most importantly, the sunset beyond Naxos island

Was a neat little castle ruin on the mountain with a chapel next to. Alas there's no parking. And no warning that it's coming. And ultimately it was a little underwhelming compared to many other ruin sites we visited. Still worth a quick trip if you're in the area and like exploring ruins.

It's ok. No descriptions and signs to tell you its history. Whatever remains of this place leaves you to your imagination of people who once occupied the "castle". And if you intend to, take caution that the continued road up to Paralis Ftelias or Fokos beach is a steep and tough drive on the neglected rocky and pothole roads. It's better to head back to Ano Mera and use the proper roads.

Just amazing for a small little dot on a Google map. if you're there...enter the little "cottage" turn left and have your mind blown! there is an amazing corner stone fireplace complete with a slab mantle peek through the window to a gorgeous orthodox dome with the brilliant blue sky backdrop!

Interesting ruins with a little chapel in it which gives an authentic feeling as you can see from my pictures. Worth doing when in Ano Mera and easy to combine with the monastery a few meters below.

it's not the easiest place to find, and parking is very scarce, but once you have arrived you will be treated to a very interesting, albeit small, set of ruins that are beautifully situated on a mykonos hillside. there is a small chapel on site that is well maintained. the best part of the entire location is honestly the views that you get slightly around the corner from the road, where you can overlook another mountain and sweeping fields that slowly turn into the sea. very cool spot!
