I recommand the feta in the oven, the Apaki pork, the Fried zucchinis and the souvlaki brochettes but everything is delicious ! It's a familial place and they made us feel like family ! I Hope to come again in Creta and if I do, I will go back there. Thank you so much to Maxis Mill (Maxis' garden), you've honored the Cretan hospitality and kindness !

I can see a lot of effort has gone into the premises hence did not give 1 star. However the quality of food and service was a big disappointment. We ordered a mixed grill for 2. The portion was large, but flavourless and chewy, it had no charcoal scent. It came with 1 tablespoon of tzaziki and a few chips, which was not enough. We requested more sauce but was declined. The service was unfriendly and uncaring. We had a little one with us and there were no napkins until we requested it. Would not say it is expensive given the portion size, but for the same price can have considerably better meals nearby on the beach with much warmer reception. It was a waste of our stomach really.. we want to make every meal a worthwhile one while on holiday so won't be revisiting.

Delicious food - typical Cretan dishes, cooked in not a fatty way! 3. Perfect location - tranquil garden with epic views, it feels very relaxing!
G	Gordon Allen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely rustic pottery. This a very peaceful, beautiful cafe/restaurant/bar run by a lovely lady who's husband is the Potter. Prices are very reasonable and great friendly service. We ate and drank in the garden overlooking the valley below.
