Φιλοτεχνήθηκε από τον γλύπτη Φέλιξ Γουέλτον, εχει ύψος 3,20 μέτρων και στηρίζεται σε ένα μαρμάρινο βάθρο. Βρίσκεται στη συμβολή της Λεωφόρου Βασιλέως Κωνσταντίνου 42 με την Οδό Βασιλέως Γεωργίου Β΄ στo κέντρο της Αθήνας, στην περιοχή της Ρηγίλλης. Στήθηκε το 1963 ερήμην της δημοτικής αρχής και χωρίς την άδειά της. Γύρω από τον ανδριάντα υπάρχουν συνολικά 8 στήλες ύψους 1,85 μέτρων, στις οποίες αναγράφονται σε ελληνικά και αγγλικά κείμενα ευγνωμοσύνης τους ελληνικού λαού για τον Τρούμαν και ο λόγος του ιδίου για την αποστολή στρατιωτικής και οικονομικής βοήθειας στην Ελλάδα, μέσω του Σχεδίου Μάρσαλ μετά τη λήξη του Β' Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου. The statue of Harry Truman is a bronze statue of the 33rd President of the United States, Harry Truman. Crafted by sculptor Felix Welton, it is 3.20 meters high and rests on a marble pedestal. It is located at the junction of 42 Vassileos Konstantinou Avenue with Vassileos Georgiou II Street in the center of Athens, in the area of Rigilli. It was set up in 1963 without the permission of the municipal authority and without its permission. Around the statue there are a total of 8 columns 1.85 meters high, in which are written in Greek and English texts of gratitude of the Greek people for Truman and his reason for sending military and financial aid to Greece, through the Marshall Plan after end of World War II.
