Hippocampus Hotel - Makedonias 5

Great hotel, beds are absolutely comfortabele, cosy rooms and balcony, nice shower, friendly owners, great service. Newly renovated rooms this year. We stayed for 14 nights and had a great stay!! When you go to Santontorini Kamari Beach and are looking for a good place to stay: I recommend Hippocampus!!

This was our favorite hotel in all of Greece. The staff was genuinely friendly, the price was good, and it was eco friendly (part of the Green Key program). During the day we enjoyed cocktails at the pool, and it was quiet and peaceful at night. The sea is just a few hundred feet away.

It took me a over 2 weeks of searching to select an hotel in Santorini, I wanted something nice but not crazy expensive, I'm really glad I found this hotel. We stayed here for 6 nights. When we arrived at the hotel, the person at front desk was very helpful, he gave us a map of the island, circled some of the best places to go to including the best spot for the sunset. He also told us about the cruises they could schedule for us, i'm sure you can find it cheaper online but honestly having them do everything for us including arranging the pick up, was totally worth it, we did the volcano/ hot springs/Thirassia island and it was great. The rooms were really big with a balcony, the bed for someone that often stays in hotels, I don't remember the last time I had such a nice bed, the location was amazing, 1 minute walk to the beach, there was a bunch of restaurant on near the beach, amazing Italian restaurant just up the street, pharmacy, 2 mini markets in front of the hotel and great bars. Their breakfast was great too, there was alway, fresh bread, croissants, fruit, pastries, juice, coffee, eggs, bacon/sausage. There was plenty of parking, the room was cleaned everyday and we always had clean towels. I spent one hour in the afternoon laying by the pool and was very relaxing, the lounge chairs were comfortable to enjoy the sun Definitely recommend it

The hotel was absolutely amazing, located in the middle of everything, so easy to get wherever you want, there is a bus stop right next to it. Spyros hosted us as if we were his family no less, the place was so clean and shiny, perfect breakfast, nice pool and all this does not even start to discrib the best time we had! We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to everyone!!!???

We’ve really enjoyed our stay at Hippocampus hotel! The location couldn’t be better, just few steps away from the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean. Great pool area to relax. Nice breakfast with selection of different things to eat (hot and cold). Spiros and the team made all the efforts to make our stay a great experience - thank you for that! I highly recommend the hotel for your stay in Kamari!

We had a beautiful experience here. Hotel is perfectly clean both in the rooms and outside area, in a week we have not seen one leaf in the outdoor pool and staff members are friendly and helpful. Also breakfast was really nice! The location is amazing because you have 5min walk to the beach and also everything you need less than 5 min walk such as shops,farmacies,restaurants etc. We really enjoyed it and will definitely recommend to friends and family. If we ever get back to Kamari this will be our go to place!

Absolutely lovely boutique hotel! Staff was outstanding the whole time we were there, even helped book in-room massages and gave us access to bathrooms/pool/shower/bag storage after we checked out (flight out was in evening). Also assisted in arranging transportation both to and from the airport. Clean rooms, good breakfast (not just pastries but scrambled eggs/bacon/fresh fruit), and great A/C you are able to control. Quiet and the grounds are well taken care of. 2 minutes from the beach and all the bars/restaurants on Kamari Beach. This will be my first choice in hotel if I'm able to return.

We spent 5 nights in Santorini and I couldn’t choose a better place , fabulous hotel the offers comfort and make you feel so welcome, thank Manos, Barbara and all family for the lovely stay.
