The worst our visit in Greece. When arrived we were attacked by big dogs, my wife really scared. There are no any museums, only farm. That’s not responsible from the owner to be misleading visitors as far as for us it was even dangerous.

What a wonderful find. The museum is a small collection of mostly WW2 guns, helmets, etc the owner's father and grandfather collected. Who is the owner? A warm and friendly man named Kostas. After happily showing us his collection, we sat and drank raki and ate walnuts in honey. This was simple, pure hospitality on his part. This was the capstone of a great getting lost in the mountains, seeing the vistas, etc. Thank you, Kostas! Looking at the one star reviews, these seem to be from folks who probably shouldn't be traveling outside of guided tours and big cities. Be willing to have to search a bit to find Kostas.

An amazing, traditional cafeteria and museum of the Cretan War against Turks and Germans, situated in a very small, picturesque village, with stunning views over the White Mountains and Kerameia mountainous plains!

Wow! This restaurant is magical. After the most heart felt mystical mountain tour with Yiannis from Yiannis Guided Tours, we finished up with lunch - all products fresh from the vegetables and animals surrounding the restaurant. Totally organic and fresh!! The best cheese ever and the owner Kostas is one of those kind people whose eyes and smile radiate peace and joy. When we returned to Chania I felt serene. Thank you Yiannis and Kostas ☺️☺️

Me and my partner had a very emotional experience at this place. It was so native and time-stopping. Konstantinos and his brother are lovely, friendly men. They are traditional Greeks, cozy and outspoken. The museum is tiny, just a small collection of their objects that they have put together over the years, and some are quite interesting. The pieces are old, worn out and noticeably original. I felt like I was away from everything in this place, tiny corner of a simple paradise.
