★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building itself is refurbished every once in a while, but it is a historical landmark with a wall painting that dates back to the 14th century. The guide have got sufficient english language which is a big plus for me (especially in greece). Although i have got to say that parking spots are difficult to find, and it was raining and there is no pedestrian cover, so i advice you to bring your own umbrella if it does rain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful church hidden at the top of a hill in the old town of Thessaloniki. Full of wonderful paintings, frescoes and icons it sits in a lovely walled garden (with wild tortoises living in it!) We visited for a wedding and it was amazing to see this brilliant old building full of people - definitely worth a visit.
